Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET Core & Angular) to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern enterprise applications that deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions to meet business needs. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, leveraging your expertise in .NET Core, Angular, and cloud-based technologies to build high-quality applications that drive business value and enhance user experiences.
As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative technical solutions. You will also contribute to technical design decisions, code quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while helping foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and engineering excellence.
About the Role
The Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET Core & Angular) is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications using modern Microsoft technologies and Angular frameworks. This role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership responsibilities, including application design, code reviews, performance optimization, and solution implementation.
The ideal candidate possesses strong experience building scalable full stack applications, a solid understanding of software architecture and development best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams. Success in this role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering secure, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions that support organizational objectives.

In this role, you will:
Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using .NET Core/.NET and Angular technologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and refine functional and technical requirements.
Design, implement, and optimize application architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code following established coding standards, best practices, and software engineering principles.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure application quality and stability.
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions, technology evaluations, and solution recommendations.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, knowledge sharing, and adherence to development standards.
Work closely with QA teams to define test strategies, develop testable solutions, and ensure comprehensive application testing coverage.
Monitor and optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements.
Ensure applications comply with security best practices, data protection standards, and organizational governance requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, application workflows, and deployment procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
Support deployment activities, production issue resolution, and ongoing application maintenance within an Agile environment.
Work Model

What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core/.NET application development.
- Strong experience developing modern web applications using Angular (2+) with proficiency in recent Angular versions.
- Proficiency in C#, RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, and modern software design patterns.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application development, preferably within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.
- Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding standards.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
- Microsoft certifications related to .NET, Azure, cloud-native application development, or equivalent certifications demonstrating expertise in Microsoft technologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until August 9th, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $93,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
