ROLE OVERVIEW
We are hiring a Marketing LLM Content Specialist to produce high-quality, AI-optimized marketing content that drives brand citation across generative AI platforms. This role sits at the intersection of content marketing and AI optimization—creating structured, E-E-A-T-compliant content assets that are specifically engineered to be retrieved, cited, and surfaced by large language models in response to brand and category queries. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the marketing content portfolio that underpins the brand's AI visibility strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce GEO-optimized marketing content assets including structured Q&A articles, FAQ pages, topical guides, and how-to content—crafted to match retrieval patterns and answer formats used by large language models across marketing-relevant queries.
• Apply E-E-A-T principles rigorously across all marketing content, ensuring every asset demonstrates first-hand marketing expertise, subject-matter authority, brand credibility, and trustworthiness signals that increase the likelihood of AI citation.
• Conduct ongoing audits of existing marketing site content against LLM retrieval benchmarks, identifying pages that are semantically thin, lack brand entity coverage, or miss conversational query alignment.
• Maintain a live topical authority matrix mapping marketing-relevant target keywords, content assets, and brand entity relationships, ensuring the content portfolio builds cumulative marketing authority across priority categories.
• Track marketing content performance through AI citation reports and organic traffic data, delivering fortnightly analysis of which assets are driving citation uplift and recommending refresh cycles based on AI answer pattern changes.
• Develop content that aligns with marketing campaign themes, brand voice guidelines, and editorial calendars while simultaneously optimizing for AI retrieval requirements.
• Write marketing-specific content that supports demand generation goals—including product comparison guides, category explainers, and buyer journey content optimized for AI-assisted discovery.
• Collaborate with the marketing strategy team to ensure content assets reflect current brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and competitive differentiation points.
• Identify opportunities to repurpose existing marketing content assets into AI-optimized formats that increase citation potential without duplicating brand investment.
• Partner with technical and analytics teams to validate that content optimizations are resulting in measurable improvements in AI citation frequency and organic marketing traffic.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• LLM-optimized marketing content writing — deep expertise in structuring brand content for machine retrieval, including answer-first formatting, conversational query matching, semantic entity density, and passage-level coherence for RAG systems.
• E-E-A-T architecture for marketing content — advanced understanding of how AI engines evaluate Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness in marketing and brand content contexts.
• Topical authority and semantic SEO for marketing — designing content ecosystems that signal deep subject-matter coverage through entity co-occurrence, keyword clustering, and structured content hierarchies.
• Conversational and long-tail query modeling for marketing — researching and mapping natural language, voice, and generative search queries relevant to marketing category and brand queries.
• Marketing content performance analysis — proficiency in reading AI citation tracking reports, organic traffic attribution data, and LLM answer monitoring dashboards to identify gaps and high-opportunity refresh targets.
• Schema-content alignment for marketing — working knowledge of how FAQ, HowTo, Article, and Product schema reinforces marketing content signals for AI engines.
• Brand voice and marketing editorial expertise — ability to produce content that simultaneously meets AI optimization requirements and adheres to brand tone, messaging guidelines, and marketing campaign objectives.
