About the role
As an Integration Architect, you will make an impact by serving as a Technical Lead designing and governing complex integration solutions for life and annuities insurance clients. You will help ensure enterprise platforms are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to business, regulatory, and delivery expectations. Define integration patterns, reusable components, API strategies, and reference implementations that improve consistency, performance, monitoring, error handling, and maintainability across complex system landscapes.
Review solution designs and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, performance targets, and regulatory expectations.
Establish coding, testing, Git-based development, documentation, and release management standards that promote quality, traceability, observability, and effective collaboration across distributed teams.
Partner with business, technology, and operations stakeholders to translate life and annuities product, policy, claims, and operational needs into robust technical integration and AI solution designs.
What you need to have to be considered
Strong hands-on experience designing enterprise integration solutions using Java Spring Boot, IBM ACE/IIB, REST APIs, PL/SQL, and related integration technologies.
Proven ability to lead architecture design, governance, solution reviews, reference implementations, and proof-of-concept work for complex integration environments.
Experience defining API design, versioning, authentication, authorization, throttling, observability, resiliency, recoverability, and performance validation strategies.
Practical knowledge of Git-based source control, branching strategies, pull requests, code review, release management, and collaborative development practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical options in clear business terms and support informed decision making.
These will help you stand out
Experience supporting life and annuities insurance platforms, including product rules, policy lifecycles, claims processes, and related regulatory considerations.
Hands-on generative AI knowledge, including the ability to design secure and ethical AI-assisted capabilities that enhance decision support, documentation, and service experiences.
Demonstrated success coordinating hybrid delivery teams while maintaining strong quality, accountability, and delivery discipline.
Experience partnering with operations teams to improve logging, alerting, root-cause analysis, incident response, and business-impact reduction for integration and AI services.
Ability to create clear target architectures, integration blueprints, data flow diagrams, configuration guidelines, and knowledge-sharing documentation for ongoing operations and future enhancements.
