Job Summary
Serve as a Test Lead for manufacturing execution solutions overseeing validation and automated testing for complex MES environments that integrate levels L2 to L4 and leverage generative AI capabilities. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure robust quality regulatory compliance and reliable delivery of Camstar MES solutions in a hybrid work model for global manufacturing and supply chain programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead end to end test planning for MES validation programs by defining scope objectives estimations and timelines that align with project milestones and quality expectations for global manufacturing stakeholders.
- Oversee design of comprehensive test strategies that cover MES Val automated testing MES Val manual testing and integration scenarios across MES L2 L3 and L4 layers to assure resilient and predictable system behavior.
- Drive creation and maintenance of detailed test cases and test scripts for Camstar MES flows to validate production quality and supply chain processes while complying with internal quality standards and external regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate execution of manual and automated test cycles in a hybrid work environment ensuring that test data environments and tools are prepared in advance to avoid delays and rework.
- Provide hands on guidance in configuring and running automated test suites for MES workflows including regression and performance tests to increase test coverage and reduce release cycle time.
- Analyze complex defects discovered during MES validation and integration testing perform structured root cause analysis and work closely with technical and functional teams to drive timely resolution and prevention actions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain domain experts to translate process requirements into testable scenarios that reflect real world production conditions and supplier constraints.
- Leverage generative AI capabilities to accelerate test artifact creation such as test scenarios test data sets and defect summaries while ensuring that outputs are reviewed and aligned with project standards.
- Prepare clear test reports and quality dashboards that summarize execution status defect trends and release readiness so that project stakeholders can make informed go or no go decisions.
- Engage with integration teams to validate data and process flows between Camstar MES and surrounding systems at L2 L3 and L4 levels ensuring accurate timely and secure information exchange.
- Ensure adherence to organizational quality frameworks validation procedures and documentation practices so that audit readiness and traceability are maintained across all MES testing activities.
- Mentor junior testers on MES validation concepts automated testing practices and defect management workflows so that the overall capability and efficiency of the test team continuously improves.
- Coordinate with project managers and architects to identify testing risks early propose mitigation strategies and adjust test plans when project scope or timelines evolve.
Qualifications
- Display proven experience of ten to fourteen years in software testing with substantial tenure as a Test Lead responsible for complex enterprise applications and multi phase releases.
- Possess strong hands on expertise in MES Val automated testing and MES Val manual testing including test design execution and optimization of test coverage for regulated manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrate deep practical knowledge of MES L2 L3 and L4 integration patterns including message flows event handling and data consistency considerations across plant floor and enterprise layers.
- Show solid working experience with Camstar MES configuration workflows and validation activities so that core manufacturing and quality operations can be thoroughly verified before deployment.
- Apply understanding of generative AI concepts and tools to support test documentation generation test data creation and exploratory test design under appropriate review and governance.
- Bring domain exposure in manufacturing and supply chain processes such as production execution material management quality tracking and traceability in order to design realistic and risk focused test scenarios.
- Utilize strong skills in defect management test management and collaboration tools along with clear communication capabilities to partner effectively with distributed cross functional teams in a hybrid work setup.
- Maintain a continuous learning mindset by staying current with advances in MES technologies automated testing frameworks and AI driven quality engineering practices relevant to the role.
