Job Summary
Test Lead role in a multinational organization focusing on validating enterprise solutions that integrate Generative AI API Gateway Azure API Management and Open API while supporting Product Lifecycle Management platforms. The role operates in a work from office day shift model with no travel and emphasizes quality reliability and business value.
Responsibilities
- Drive comprehensive test planning for solutions that integrate Generative AI components with API based microservices to ensure functional quality and alignment with business needs in Product Lifecycle Management systems
- Design detailed test scenarios for Azure API Management and API Gateway flows to validate routing reliability throttling rules and security policies across Product Lifecycle Management interfaces
- Coordinate end to end testing of Open API based services including contract validation backward compatibility checks and response accuracy for critical Product Lifecycle Management transactions
- Create robust test cases for Generative AI features such as content generation recommendations and summarization to verify accuracy guardrail adherence and alignment with expected user outcomes
- Develop reusable test data sets and automation friendly test scripts that cover complex Product Lifecycle Management workflows from product ideation through retirement phases
- Guide defect triage activities by analyzing logs response payloads and service dependencies to isolate issues in Generative AI models API layers and Product Lifecycle Management applications
- Implement systematic regression testing cycles for Azure API Management and API Gateway configurations to prevent quality regressions during frequent release cycles
- Collaborate closely with developers solution architects and Product Lifecycle Management analysts to clarify requirements and translate them into measurable test objectives and acceptance criteria
- Monitor test execution progress using metrics such as defect density coverage and cycle time to highlight quality risks and support data driven release decisions
- Optimize test environments for Generative AI and API integrations by coordinating configuration changes test data refreshes and interface stubs to minimize downtime and execution delays
- Document clear test execution results and user centric defect descriptions to support efficient resolution and knowledge reuse across future Product Lifecycle Management enhancements
- Mentor junior testers by sharing best practices in API testing Generative AI validation and domain specific testing for Product Lifecycle Management use cases
- Align daily testing activities with the company quality vision by ensuring that validated solutions improve product data accuracy shorten release cycles and contribute to safer more reliable products for end customers
Qualifications
- Possess seven to nine years of hands on experience in software testing with a strong focus on API centric enterprise solutions and complex integration landscapes
- Demonstrate practical expertise in designing and executing tests for Generative AI features including evaluation of output quality safety constraints and model behavior across diverse scenarios
- Exhibit advanced skills in Azure API Management and API Gateway configuration understanding policies monitoring and troubleshooting from a quality engineering perspective
- Show solid experience in testing Open API specifications including schema validation mocking strategies and compatibility verification across multiple service versions
- Bring deep domain experience in Product Lifecycle Management processes covering product structures change management and release workflows in large enterprises
- Apply strong proficiency in creating detailed test plans test cases and defect reports using industry standard test management and defect tracking tools
- Display working knowledge of test automation approaches for APIs including use of scripting tools or frameworks to improve coverage and repeatability
- Communicate effectively with cross functional teams by presenting test findings risks and quality recommendations in a clear concise and actionable manner
- Adhere to secure coding and testing guidelines when validating APIs and Generative AI features to support compliance and responsible technology use
- Adapt to a work from office environment in a day shift schedule while maintaining high focus and productivity across iterative release cycles
- Value continuous learning by staying updated on evolving Generative AI patterns API standards and Product Lifecycle Management best practices to enhance test strategies
- Prefer candidates with exposure to cloud native architectures microservices and DevOps pipelines where testing is embedded into continuous integration and delivery flows
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate and Azure Developer Associate or equivalent API and cloud certifications
