Job Summary

Role focuses on designing and delivering secure cloud native applications using Java Node JS microservices and modern web technologies in a hybrid work model. The engineer will optimize data intensive solutions using PostgreSQL SQL and PL or SQL mySQL while ensuring resilient event streaming with Kafka and scalable deployments on AWS for business critical systems.


Responsibilities

  • Drive design and implementation of scalable microservices that support complex business workflows and ensure consistent performance across day operations in a hybrid work model
  • Debug and optimize Java and Node JS backend services to reduce latency enhance reliability and improve overall user experience for critical enterprise applications
  • Develop robust API integrations using REST patterns that enable seamless communication between microservices and external partner systems with clear error handling and logging
  • Implement secure and reusable components in Angular JS and Advanced JavaScript to deliver responsive and accessible user interfaces tailored to business needs
  • Refine data models in PostgreSQL and SQL platforms to support analytical reporting transactional workloads and efficient query execution for large volumes of structured data
  • Create and maintain PL or SQL mySQL stored procedures and functions that encapsulate business logic while ensuring consistency integrity and clear traceability of data flows
  • Configure and manage Kafka topics producers and consumers to support resilient event driven architectures that process high throughput data streams with minimal message loss
  • Deploy monitor and tune services on AWS using managed resources to improve scalability fault tolerance and cost efficiency while aligning with organizational cloud standards
  • Apply secure coding practices and perform thorough code reviews to minimize vulnerabilities enforce coding conventions and maintain a maintainable shared code base
  • Collaborate with cross functional product testing and operations teams to clarify requirements plan technical tasks and coordinate day releases without service disruption
  • Create detailed technical documentation covering system design data flows and operational procedures to support maintainability knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members
  • Mentor engineers by providing constructive feedback on design choices implementation patterns and testing strategies to foster continuous improvement within the delivery team
  • Analyze production incidents using logs and monitoring tools to identify root causes implement corrective changes and prevent recurrence through resilient design improvements
  • Drive continuous integration and delivery practices by enhancing build pipelines automated testing coverage and deployment automation that reduce manual effort and delivery risk


Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience designing and developing Java and Node JS services backed by PostgreSQL and SQL databases for complex enterprise applications in a hybrid work setup
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Kafka and microservices patterns for implementing decoupled event driven solutions that scale with business growth and transaction volume
  • Exhibit advanced skills in Angular JS and Advanced JavaScript for building interactive performant front end experiences that integrate seamlessly with backend APIs
  • Show proven experience working with AWS based environments including configuring services managing deployments and monitoring resources to support cloud native applications
  • Bring hands on expertise in PL or SQL and mySQL development for building robust server side logic that supports reporting transactional processing and integration scenarios
  • Display strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices including code review automated testing and continuous integration to maintain high quality deliverables
  • Communicate effectively with product stakeholders and technical peers to translate requirements into technical designs and to provide clear status updates on delivery progress


Certifications Required

AWS Certified Developer Associate or equivalent cloud certification is preferred along
