About the role
As a Healthcare QA Test Manager, you will make an impact by leading quality assurance initiatives across TriZetto implementation, upgrade, and optimization programs. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Quality Assurance team and work collaboratively with project stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities across one or more healthcare implementation projects.
- Manage and mentor QA team members, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
- Oversee project risks, issues, dependencies, and testing milestones to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate testing activities across onsite and offshore teams while ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor team utilization, delivery performance, and quality metrics to drive operational effectiveness.
- Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and escalate risks and challenges when appropriate.
- Support implementation, upgrade, and optimization initiatives for healthcare payer platforms.
- Promote best practices in software quality assurance, test management, and continuous improvement.

What you need to have to be considered
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Experience leading testing efforts for Facets or QNXT platforms.
- Proven experience managing QA resources and leading project testing activities.
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations and business processes.
- Experience with project test planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong consulting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within onsite-offshore delivery models.
These will help you stand out
- Deep knowledge of multiple healthcare lines of business, including Medicare, Medicaid, Individual, Small Group, and Large Group.
- Experience supporting TriZetto implementation, migration, upgrade, or optimization programs.
- Experience leading geographically distributed testing teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare claims, enrollment, benefits, or provider operations.
- Agile, Scrum, or testing certifications.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
