About the role

As a .NET Developer Analyst, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will be a valued member of the development team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and produce functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize database solutions, including data modeling, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query performance tuning.
  • Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability, availability, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to Agile development practices, technical documentation, code reviews, testing, and DevOps initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.

Work model

This is a hybrid position requiring attendance at a Cognizant office in São Paulo, Brazil.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications using C# .NET, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML.
  • Experience developing solutions in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft IIS administration and application deployment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containers, and release automation.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience developing and automating ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
