Job Summary
Serve as a senior product test specialist responsible for designing executing and improving complex test strategies for SAP based enterprise solutions using qTest and Tosca. Work in a hybrid day shift model partnering with cross functional teams to ensure high quality releases operational stability and measurable business value while enabling scalable test automation and continuous improvement across projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead end to end test planning for SAP product releases by defining clear objectives scope test data needs and acceptance criteria aligned to business outcomes using structured test management practices driven through qTest and Tosca.
- Oversee the design of comprehensive functional and regression test suites for SAP modules by mapping requirements to test cases and ensuring traceability that supports transparent defect analysis and informed release decisions.
- Drive advanced test automation in Tosca by creating reusable automation assets for critical SAP transactions and workflows that reduce manual effort and accelerate cycle time while maintaining high reliability and maintainability.
- Coordinate day to day test execution activities in a hybrid working model by organizing test runs in qTest monitoring progress resolving blockers and communicating status updates that keep stakeholders aligned with delivery milestones.
- Perform rigorous defect analysis for SAP applications by validating issues prioritizing impact and collaborating with development and operations teams to support timely remediation and minimize disruption to business processes.
- Provide detailed test reporting and metrics through qTest dashboards by synthesizing execution results defect trends and quality indicators that support data driven decisions on release readiness and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with operations and business teams to understand end user workflows and operational constraints so that test scenarios reflect real world usage patterns and contribute directly to improved stability and user satisfaction.
- Guide continuous improvement of test processes by evaluating existing qTest and Tosca practices proposing enhancements standardizing templates and sharing best practices to increase efficiency and consistency across projects.
- Execute integration and system tests on SAP landscapes by validating interfaces data flows and cross module dependencies to ensure that new changes coexist with existing functionality without affecting critical operations.
- Coordinate user validation activities by preparing test data scenarios and environment readiness that help business and operations stakeholders efficiently confirm solution fitness before production deployment.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality guidelines by following defined test governance documentation standards and audit ready evidence within qTest to support transparency and regulatory or customer requirements.
- Mentor junior testers on effective use of qTest and Tosca by demonstrating practical techniques reviewing test assets and providing actionable feedback that elevates team capability and overall product quality.
- Support hybrid collaboration by using online tools and structured communication routines that maintain clear alignment among distributed team members and ensure uninterrupted progress despite location differences.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate eight to ten years of hands on product testing experience focused on complex enterprise systems where SAP has been a primary platform and test ownership has included full release cycles.
- Possess deep practical expertise in qTest for test case design execution management traceability and reporting with a proven track record of using dashboards and analytics to inform quality decisions.
- Bring strong proficiency in Tosca automation including creation and maintenance of modular test cases test data management and automation for SAP screens to achieve sustainable regression coverage.
- Apply solid understanding of operations or related business domains to design meaningful test scenarios that accurately represent operational workflows constraints and performance expectations even when domain exposure is limited.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills that enable effective defect isolation root cause discussion with technical teams and clear articulation of business risk associated with identified issues.
- Communicate clearly and constructively in hybrid work settings using concise documentation and structured updates that support smooth collaboration with product owners developers and operational stakeholders.
