Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineering Lead (Travel & Airline Domain) to join our team and support a leading global travel technology organization. This role requires a unique blend of deep Travel and Airline domain expertise, functional analysis capabilities, and hands-on quality engineering experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders, analyzing requirements, validating complex travel and reservation workflows, and driving quality through API testing and test automation.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of airline reservation and travel distribution systems, experience with REST API testing, and hands-on expertise in Katalon Studio. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives and customer expectations.

About the Role
As a Quality Engineering Lead (Travel & Airline Domain), you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging your domain expertise to translate business needs into effective testing and quality assurance strategies. You will lead functional validation efforts, design and execute API testing activities, and develop automated test solutions to improve quality and delivery efficiency.

In this role, you will:
Perform as a Functional Analyst and Test Automation Engineer within the Travel and Airline domain.
Work with airline reservation and travel distribution systems.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Work directly with business stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Analyze and test REST APIs.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Katalon Studio.
Support and ensure high-quality system delivery.

Deep Travel & Airline domain knowledge.
Knowledge of REST API testing.
Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until September 27th , 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 - $131,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
