• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate complex cards and payments requirements into detailed technical designs leveraging IBM Sterling and AWS Cloud capabilities.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies across IBM MQ, IBM Sterling, and AWS components, and analyze production incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that improve service reliability.
• Perform impact analysis, develop code changes for enhancements and defect fixes, and conduct thorough unit and integration testing to validate performance, resilience, and adherence to regulatory expectations.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services applied to integration and middleware workloads, including design, implementation, and optimization.
• Deep, practical expertise in IBM MQ MFT for secure and reliable file transfer, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in complex enterprise environments.
• Advanced skills in IBM Sterling Secure Proxy administration and configuration, including secure inbound/outbound connections, authentication, and policy enforcement for financial data.
• Solid knowledge of IBM Sterling B2B solutions for partner integrations, transaction routing, and message transformation in cards and payments ecosystems.
• Proven domain experience in cards and payments operations and processing flows, including transaction lifecycles, regulatory constraints, and typical integration patterns.
These Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration details, and data flow diagrams for audit and enhancement purposes.
• Experience optimizing AWS Cloud resource utilization (compute, storage, networking) to balance performance, cost efficiency, and security for transaction processing workloads.
• Experience coordinating with operations and support teams on deployment plans, configuration documentation, and runbooks in a hybrid work environment.
• Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders to review solution behavior, gather feedback, and refine integration flows.
• Familiarity with emerging AWS and IBM middleware features and a track record of proposing enhancements to strengthen payments integration platforms.
