Job Summary

Data Platform Administrator responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable microservice based data platforms using modern Java and Angular frameworks in a hybrid work model. Role focuses on secure API driven integrations including Claude API ensuring high availability performance and compliance for asset and wealth management environments where applicable supporting business growth and reliable digital experiences for stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Design and administer secure and scalable data platform solutions that leverage Springboot microservices and Java twenty one to support critical enterprise applications in a hybrid work environment.
  • Implement and maintain robust microservice architectures that enable reliable data ingestion processing and distribution while ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization across the platform.
  • Develop and enhance Angular thirteen to eighteen based user interfaces that provide intuitive access to data platform capabilities and monitoring tools for technology and business stakeholders.
  • Configure and manage API integrations including Claude API to support intelligent data services automation capabilities and enhanced analytics workflows for internal and external consumers.
  • Optimize Core Java components and backend services to ensure consistent throughput low latency and high availability for day shift operations without requiring travel.
  • Monitor platform health using observability tools and logs proactively identifying incidents and performance bottlenecks and driving timely remediation actions to protect service continuity.
  • Maintain strong security controls across services by applying authentication authorization encryption and data protection practices aligned with organizational policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate with application development and business teams to translate functional and non functional requirements into practical platform configurations and deployment strategies that support long term scalability.
  • Coordinate release activities for microservices and front end components by managing configurations validating deployment pipelines and ensuring smooth transitions across environments from development to production.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for platform configurations service dependencies operational procedures and troubleshooting guides to support consistent day to day operations.
  • Support incident and problem management processes by performing root cause analysis on recurring data platform issues and recommending targeted improvements to architecture and configuration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging platform tools Java and Angular features and API capabilities that can improve reliability efficiency and user experience.
  • Engage with asset and wealth management domain experts when applicable to align platform data structures integrations and reporting capabilities with regulatory needs and investor facing service expectations.


Qualifications

  • Apply advanced experience in Springboot microservices to architect resilient services configure data access patterns and ensure secure communication across platform components.
  • Use strong skills in Angular thirteen to eighteen to build maintainable and modular front end applications that enable clear observability and configuration interfaces for platform administration.
  • Demonstrate deep proficiency in Java twenty one and Core Java concepts to design performant data services manage concurrency and handle resource intensive workloads with stability.
  • Utilize practical experience integrating Claude API to enable intelligent automation and conversational capabilities that enhance platform support and data interaction journeys.
  • Bring exposure to asset and wealth management domains as a beneficial asset in interpreting data flows client reporting requirements and regulatory considerations for platform solutions.
  • Showcase ability to operate effectively in hybrid work models and day shift schedules while coordinating with distributed teams through structured communication and documentation practices.


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Spring Professional certification and cloud platform administrator or architect credentials.
