Job Summary
Data - Join our dynamic team as a Team Leader Loan Originations Specialist where you will leverage your expertise in post-close underwriting you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of loan documents. Responsibilities
TM or TL s objective is to actively assist a team in accordance with laid down procedures to achieve and maintain requisite standards of quality and productivity. He or she will report to the Delivery Manager Operations who will be the first point of contact for any issues questions or concerns.
Key Result Areas KRAs
Leadership
TL or TM to track daily or weekly and monthly production targets and volumes.
Conduct daily and weekly meeting with the stakeholders to understand any deviation and opportunities for improvement.
Work with production staff to acquire required documents in order to verify the income and employment details of the applicant review the applicant s credit profile analyze financial statements and consider other information to act on loan and credit requests.
Examine loan documentation for accuracy and completeness and determine whether additional information may be required to make a credit decision.
Examine and analyse assets liabilities income and debt information related to applicants to make a credit decision.
Evaluate and review appraisal reports and collateral issues related to real estate to determine whether it may properly support the approval of a loan application.
TL or TM is responsible for maintaining constant process knowledge in the team.
The ability to handle both people and process issues and streamline them.
Responsible for maintaining and documenting all updates received from the business area.
Will be a part of all the clients calls and will be responsible for updating the teams.
Responsible for cascading or providing training on new updates to all team members.
Responsible for conducting the knowledge check.
Responsible for suggesting and driving process improvements.
Should have multi tasking skills as a Trainer or QC or Processor and will conduct refresher training or handle Quality sessions on a need basis.
Monitor and coach underperformers to improve their quality and efficiency.
Address and ensure resolution on all process related queries of the team members
Conduct process training for new joiners.
Support team members with their process queries.
Perform internal audits.
Client coordination for query resolution & process updates.
Draft process SOPs.
Manage process update trackers.
Qualification
Diploma or Graduate any discipline
6 8 years of experience in BPO U.S Mortgage .
Minimum of 2 years in the team lead role
Skill Sets
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage one or more SME s.
Strong knowledge of credit capacity capital and collateral.
Proficiency with MS Excel MS Word Desktop Underwriter Loan Prospector.
Must be detail oriented organized and work efficiently under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills
Good written and verbal Communication skills
Analytical and good judging skills
Ability to grasp and learn quickly
Ability to coach
Self motivated
MS Office Knowledge
Ability to plan
Should be able to prioritize the daily work
Flexibility to work in different shifts
US Mortgage Certification will be a value add.
Certifications Required
Certification in Advanced MS Excel or Loan Processing Certification preferred.
