About the role
As a Test Manager – Claims Processing, you will make an impact by leading the testing strategy and execution for claims processing initiatives within a proof-of-concept (POC) environment. You will be a valued member of the healthcare technology team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality, accurate claims solutions.
In this role, you will:
Define and lead the testing strategy for healthcare claims processing solutions.
Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage for key claims processing and validation scenarios.
Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and reporting across testing cycles.
Provide regular testing status updates, risks, and outcomes to project leadership.

What you need to have to be considered
Experience leading testing efforts within healthcare IT environments.
Strong understanding of claims processing and claims validation.
Proven ability to define testing strategies and oversee end-to-end test execution.
Experience coordinating testing activities across cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking, reporting, and quality metrics.
These will help you stand out
Previous experience supporting claims platforms or payer systems.
Familiarity with testing in proof-of-concept or early-stage solution environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
Experience working in regulated healthcare environments.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $110K - $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
