Job summary
Serve as a senior Pega application developer responsible for designing building and optimizing complex case management solutions using Pega Infinity and related frameworks in a hybrid work model. Apply deep expertise in Pega application development to deliver scalable secure and compliant business workflows that streamline operations and enhance customer and stakeholder experiences across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Design robust Pega application components that translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable Pega solutions optimized for enterprise use cases in a hybrid work model.
- Develop end to end Pega case management workflows that support dynamic case lifecycles business rules and service level agreements to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
- Configure and extend Pega Infinity features including case types data objects user interfaces and integrations to deliver seamless and intuitive digital experiences.
- Implement and reuse Pega frameworks and patterns to ensure standardization code quality and faster delivery across multiple initiatives and product releases.
- Optimize Pega application performance by fine tuning data access rules execution and case processing to meet strict response time and throughput targets.
- Collaborate with business analysts and product partners to refine requirements clarify edge cases and propose design alternatives aligned to enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Integrate Pega applications with internal and external systems using connectors services and messaging patterns to ensure reliable and secure data exchange.
- Conduct unit testing system testing support and defect resolution to ensure that delivered Pega components meet functional and nonfunctional quality standards.
- Create and maintain technical design documents configuration guides and deployment notes to support knowledge sharing and long term maintainability of Pega solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to peers by reviewing rules offering design suggestions and promoting best practices in Pega guardrails and coding standards.
- Collaborate with operations teams to support deployments monitor runtime behavior and resolve production incidents within agreed service levels.
- Engage in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify case structures reusable components and automation to reduce manual effort and errors.
- Coordinate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure that Pega implementations align with organizational policies data protection needs and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Require extensive hands on experience in Pega application development using recent versions of Pega Infinity for large and complex business processes.
- Require strong background in Pega case management including case lifecycle design stages steps routing escalations and service level management.
- Require proven expertise in applying Pega frameworks and patterns such as industry solutions or reusable components to accelerate implementation and maintain consistency.
- Require solid understanding of Pega data modeling rule resolution decision strategies and user interface configuration to build performant and user friendly applications.
- Require experience in integrating Pega with enterprise systems through services connectors and queues while ensuring reliability and data integrity.
- Require practical experience in hybrid working environments with ability to collaborate effectively through remote tools and onsite sessions as needed.
- Nice to have experience with performance tuning of Pega applications including analysis of logs alerts and guardrail warnings to address bottlenecks.
- Nice to have exposure to DevOps practices for Pega including packaging deployment pipelines and version management in multi environment landscapes.
- Nice to have experience working in agile delivery models where iterations backlog refinement and continuous feedback shape the evolution of Pega solutions.
- Nice to have familiarity with user centered design practices that help refine case forms portals and dashboards for improved usability and accessibility.
- Nice to have experience mentoring team members in Pega concepts and helping teams adopt consistent development standards and documentation practices.
- Nice to have understanding of cloud or container based hosting models for Pega that influence scalability observability and operational resilience.
