The Opportunity
Cognizant is looking for a Service Line Sales Specialist to join our Cybersecurity Service Line and drive incremental revenue growth across Singapore and the broader ASEAN market, with a focus on Technology Partner-led Cybersecurity solutions and services from providers such as Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler and CrowdStrike. Working in close partnership with Cognizant's vertical account teams and Security (CIS) sales teams, you will identify areas of opportunity to position Cybersecurity solutions, build compelling propositions to secure client environments, and pursue Cybersecurity deals through innovative technical and commercial models.
Key Responsibilities
• Pipeline & Revenue Growth: Own Partner-driven Cybersecurity solutions and services growth and pipeline generation in partnership with sales leaders across the Singapore/ASEAN portfolio.
• Partner Relationship Management: Manage relationships with technology partners such as Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler and CrowdStrike, maintaining regular connects and a proactive joint business plan.
• Account Team Collaboration: Partner with account teams to identify, solution and close Cybersecurity opportunities within the existing client base.
• Sales Enablement: Train and educate vertical and horizontal sales teams on Cognizant's Security portfolio and joint partner value propositions.
• Managed Services Solutioning: Drive Cybersecurity solutions for managed services opportunities, collaborating with offshore delivery teams to structure winning solutions.
• Client & Deal Engagement: Articulate the Cybersecurity solution and value proposition directly to clients as part of large managed services and IT outsourcing engagements.
• Market & Trend Engagement: Engage proactively with security stakeholders on current threat trends and clients' security landscapes, translating insight into solutions that address emerging challenges.
• GSI Alignment: Work with the Global System Integrator (GSI) team of key technology partners to track pipeline, support account planning, and drive joint client conversations with partner account representatives.
• Offering Development Input: Provide market insights to Cognizant's offering development teams to inform the creation of differentiated Cybersecurity solutions.
Performance Measures
• Pipeline & Bookings: Growth in Cybersecurity pipeline and Total Contract Value (TCV) sourced through Technology Partner-led solutions
• Revenue Growth: Year-on-year revenue growth for Cybersecurity solutions and services within the Singapore/ASEAN portfolio.
• Partner Engagement: Depth and consistency of partner cadence with technology alliance teams, measured through joint account plans and regular connects.
• Sales Enablement Impact: Adoption of Cognizant's Security portfolio messaging across vertical and horizontal sales teams, evidenced by qualified opportunities generated.
• Client Satisfaction: CSAT/NPS outcomes on managed services and IT outsourcing engagements where Cybersecurity solutions were positioned.
Candidate Profile
Experience
• IT Services Cybersecurity Sales Experience (Non-Negotiable): 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity solutions and services sales, technical solution-centric selling, or Security Consulting / Professional / Managed Services delivery within an IT services environment — general program management, account management, or non-IT sales backgrounds do not meet this requirement.
• Presales & Client Management: Proven experience in presales solutioning and client management, with exposure to managing large, complex opportunities.
• Matrixed Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with vertical sales, CIS, and technology alliance stakeholders within a matrixed organisation.
• Joint Value Proposition Articulation: Experience positioning the combined value of Cognizant Security Services and Cybersecurity Partner solutions (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, CrowdStrike) to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial & Proposal Skills: Experience preparing solution presentations, proposals, statements of work, effort/price estimation and pricing/commercial models.
• Technology Depth: Strong working knowledge of market-leading security technologies across SIEM, Network and Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Identity and Access Management.
• Executive Relationship Building: Experience developing trusted advisor relationships at the C-level within large regional and multinational enterprise accounts.
• AI Builder Positioning: Ability to articulate Cognizant's AI Builder capabilities alongside Cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating how AI-driven technology services strengthen client security outcomes.
• Communication: Strong communication skills suited to complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Certifications & Additional Qualifications
• Certifications (Preferred): CISA, CISM or CISSP preferred, not required.
• Advanced Degree (Preferred): Master's degree preferred.
