Senior ServiceNow HRSD Consultant

About the Role
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior ServiceNow HRSD Consultant to join our growing ServiceNow practice. This role is ideal for a self-driven consultant with deep expertise in ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), strong solutioning capabilities, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful HR transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing ServiceNow HRSD capabilities while collaborating with customer teams in a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and implement scalable ServiceNow HRSD solutions aligned with business objectives and ServiceNow best practices.
- Drive end-to-end solutioning activities, including process design, configuration, and deployment.
- Configure and maintain HRSD modules, employee service experiences, and related workflows.
- Proactively monitor upcoming ServiceNow releases and platform enhancements, evaluate their relevance to client instance, and recommend best-practice adoption strategies.
- Develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and HR systems or other enterprise platforms.
- Design and implement customizations using ServiceNow scripting and platform capabilities.
- Support platform administration, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide consulting expertise and recommendations to customers on HR digital transformation.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work independently and proactively drive deliverables with minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Proven experience in:
- Requirements gathering and stakeholder management
- Solution design and implementation
- ServiceNow administration and configuration
- ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.)
- Scripting and custom development within the ServiceNow platform
- E-bonding and enterprise system integrations
- Ability to independently manage workstreams and engage directly with clients.
- Strong analytical, communication, and consulting skills.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
Required Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – HR
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Data Foundation
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Additional ServiceNow CIS certifications
Language Requirements
Mandatory:
- Fluent in either:
- Swedish, or
- Norwegian
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
Work Arrangement
- Must be able to work onsite at the client location in Oslo, Norway, three days per week.
- Specific onsite days can be agreed upon based on project and client requirements.
