Job Summary

This role of Functional Architect focuses on designing and optimizing integrated supply chain planning solutions using BY Sales and Operations Planning BY Enterprise Supply Planning BY Demand Planning BY Allocation and Replenishment and BY Supply Chain Planning. The architect collaborates across business and technology teams in a hybrid work model to align planning capabilities with organizational goals and to enhance operational efficiency and service outcomes for society.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of end to end planning solutions using BY Sales and Operations Planning BY Enterprise Supply Planning BY Demand Planning BY Allocation and Replenishment and BY Supply Chain Planning to address complex business scenarios and improve planning accuracy across the organization.
• Drive requirements discovery sessions with stakeholders to capture detailed demand supply allocation and replenishment needs and translate these into scalable functional designs that align with strategic business objectives.
• Oversee functional analysis of existing planning processes and systems to identify optimization opportunities including scenario modeling safety stock strategies and allocation rules that improve service levels and reduce planning cycle times.
• Provide detailed functional specifications and solution documents for enhancements and integrations involving PL SQL based components ensuring that data flows support robust forecasting replenishment and enterprise supply planning.
• Coordinate cross functional collaboration among planning operations finance and technology teams to ensure that functional designs are practical adoptable and clearly understood by all impacted users in a hybrid work environment.
• Guide end users through solution walkthroughs functional demonstrations and pilot activities so that planning teams can effectively leverage new capabilities and understand their impact on daily decision making and long term performance.
• Manage functional testing activities including test scenario definition data validation and issue triage to ensure that BY planning solutions perform reliably under realistic business conditions and day shift operations.
• Support deployment and hypercare phases by monitoring functional performance collecting user feedback and recommending configuration tuning that strengthens supply chain resilience and responsiveness to market changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing planning data and user behavior to suggest refinements in demand strategies replenishment logic and enterprise supply planning parameters that advance the company mission and societal benefit.
• Collaborate with data and integration teams to align PL SQL queries and data models with BY application requirements thereby ensuring consistent master data transaction data and planning outputs across platforms.
• Develop and maintain high quality functional documentation such as process maps configuration reference materials and user guidance that enable sustainable application support and smooth onboarding of future team members.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess how advanced domain practices in healthcare standards and scientific modeling can inform forecasting and planning methodologies especially when working with OMOP FHIR HL7 and structural biology related data contexts.
• Mentor junior functional analysts by sharing best practices in BY planning solution usage process analysis and stakeholder engagement to build a strong internal capability for ongoing optimization of supply chain planning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive experience using BY Sales and Operations Planning BY Enterprise Supply Planning BY Demand Planning BY Allocation and Replenishment and BY Supply Chain Planning to design and implement complex functional solutions for large organizations.
• Possess strong practical expertise with PL SQL including the ability to analyze queries interpret data flows and collaborate with technical teams to ensure that planning applications are supported by reliable and performant data structures.
• Bring a deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts such as demand forecasting inventory optimization safety stock strategies and allocation policies and apply these principles in everyday solution design and analysis.
• Show proven capability in working within hybrid work models and day shift schedules using collaborative tools and structured communication practices to coordinate with diverse stakeholders and project partners.
• Offer domain exposure to healthcare and life sciences data standards including OMOP FHIR and HL7 as well as familiarity with structural biology and modeling concepts to enrich planning approaches where such knowledge is applicable.
• Exhibit strong analytical communication and problem solving skills with the ability to break down complex business requirements into clear functional designs that deliver measurable value to the company and the communities it serves.
