About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst (ServiceNow), you will make an impact by leading business analysis activities across client engagements, translating complex business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions, and driving process improvement initiatives. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow delivery team and work collaboratively with clients, technical teams, process consultants, project leaders, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead business analysis activities across client engagements, including requirements gathering, prioritization, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Partner with clients, process teams, and technical teams to identify business challenges and recommend scalable ServiceNow-based solutions.
Analyze business processes, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous process improvement through documentation, controls, and optimization initiatives.
Assess solution feasibility, risks, costs, and business value while developing business cases and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.
Mentor and coach Business Analysts, manage team work allocations, support delivery excellence, and provide thought leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

What you need to have to be considered
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and stakeholder management.
5+ years of experience designing, documenting, and improving business processes.
3+ years of experience supporting technology projects as a Business Analyst in an enterprise environment.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
ServiceNow Business Process for Implementation certification.
ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certification.
Strong experience documenting business and functional requirements and translating them into solution designs.
Experience conducting risk assessments, business case development, process mapping, and solution feasibility analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and client-facing skills.
These will help you stand out
Six Sigma certification and experience driving process optimization initiatives.
Certified Process Design Engineer (CPDE) certification.
Agile and Scrum delivery experience.
Prosci Change Management certification.
TOGAF certification or enterprise architecture exposure.
Experience with UML, BPMN, Visio, process flow mapping, data mapping, and workflow visualization tools.
Experience supporting ServiceNow demonstrations, testing activities, and user adoption initiatives.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $114K - $128K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
