Responsibilities : -Define and maintain holistic cyber security architecture that aligns enterprise security controls with business objectives while ensuring resilient protection for critical digital assets and services. -Design and optimize security use cases across endpoint network and cloud environments by leveraging Palo Alto XSIAM capabilities to detect prevent and respond to complex threats with high fidelity. -Develop advanced detection logic and correlation rules in Palo Alto XSIAM that improve alert quality reduce noise and accelerate incident triage for security operations teams. -Collaborate with security operations engineering and infrastructure teams to integrate Palo Alto XSIAM with existing tooling such as firewalls identity platforms and ticketing systems for seamless workflows. -Provide detailed technical guidance on data onboarding to Palo Alto XSIAM including selection of data sources definition of schemas and optimization of log and telemetry coverage for risk reduction. -Conduct regular architecture reviews and threat modeling exercises to identify gaps in monitoring and response capabilities then recommend enhancements grounded in Palo Alto XSIAM features. -Establish standards playbooks and patterns for incident detection investigation and remediation that utilize Palo Alto XSIAM automation to improve response speed and consistency. -Evaluate emerging threats vulnerabilities and attack techniques and translate insights into updated XSIAM content configurations and risk mitigation strategies that protect the organization and its customers. -Coordinate with compliance and governance stakeholders to ensure that XSIAM based monitoring and reporting meet regulatory and internal policy requirements while supporting audits and assessments. -Mentor security engineers and analysts on effective use of Palo Alto XSIAM by creating guidance sessions and reference materials that elevate team capability and reduce operational friction. -Partner with business application and cloud teams to embed security observability requirements into solution designs so that Palo Alto XSIAM can deliver actionable insights on service health and exposure. -Document architectural decisions data flows and integration patterns for Palo Alto XSIAM solutions to ensure long term maintainability and clarity for operations and future enhancements. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives that assess performance of XSIAM use cases and automation flows and implement targeted changes that enhance security posture and support safer digital experiences for society. -Qualifications -Demonstrate ten to thirteen years of progressive experience in cyber security architecture or engineering roles with a strong focus on designing enterprise scale monitoring and response solutions. -Show expert level proficiency in Palo Alto XSIAM including configuration of data ingestion creation of detection content automation design and performance tuning in complex environments. -Apply deep knowledge of security operations practice including incident management threat hunting and vulnerability management to shape effective XSIAM workflows and use cases. -Exhibit solid understanding of network security endpoint security and cloud security concepts to ensure that XSIAM coverage supports defense in depth across diverse platforms. -Utilize strong skills in threat modeling risk assessment and architecture review to recommend pragmatic and impactful enhancements to security controls and monitoring. -Bring experience working in hybrid work models and global enterprise settings where coordination communication and documentation are crucial for secure operations across locations. -Use clear and inclusive communication skills to collaborate with technical and non technical stakeholders and to explain complex security topics in practical and actionable terms. -Apply familiarity with automation scripting and integration concepts to connect XSIAM with complementary security tools and business systems for efficient response. 9.
