As a .NET Full Stack Lead Developer, you will make an impact by leading the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cloud-ready full stack solutions. You will be a valued member of the technology delivery team and work collaboratively with architects, engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to define solution blueprints, guide technical execution, and drive engineering excellence.

In this role, you will:
- Lead end-to-end solution design for .NET-based applications, including service decomposition, API contracts, data flows, and cloud topology across Azure or AWS.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across full stack development, integration patterns, and modern architecture approaches such as event-driven design and CQRS.
- Drive AI-based solutioning and support agent-based application development across project teams.
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to define how code is built, tested, secured, and deployed through CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and quality engineering practices.
- Promote secure coding, compliance readiness, and high-quality delivery outcomes throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and drift detection where applicable.
What you need to have to be considered
- 7+ years of strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core application development.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of dependency injection, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Azure SSO and secure application integration practices.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality governance.
- Experience with MSTest or similar testing frameworks.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and guide development teams through implementation and delivery.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and quality standards within enterprise software development.
These will help you stand out
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud-native application design and deployment.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, CQRS, or modern integration patterns.
- Exposure to AI-enabled solutioning, agent-based application development, or generative AI use cases.
- Experience supporting MLOps pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, or drift detection.
- Ability to influence engineering best practices across development, DevOps, testing, and security teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 – $135,00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
