About the Role
As a Consulting Manager, Claims Modernization (QNXT Migration) Program Manager, you will make an impact by leading large-scale healthcare transformation programs focused on claims platform modernization, operational excellence, and business growth. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team and work collaboratively with business leaders, product owners, architects, UX/UI teams, API developers, vendors, and client stakeholders to successfully execute complex claims modernization initiatives.
In this role, you will combine program leadership, stakeholder management, and healthcare domain expertise to drive the successful delivery of enterprise-scale transformation programs while enhancing member and provider experiences.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead and manage a large-scale, multi-year healthcare claims modernization and QNXT migration program across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
- Establish and govern integrated program plans, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, critical paths, and risk management activities using Microsoft Project.
- Drive Agile delivery execution through sprint planning, backlog prioritization, release planning, Jira governance, stakeholder reviews, and program performance tracking.
- Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, resource utilization, cost management, and executive reporting.
- Collaborate closely with business, technology, QA, UX/UI, API, data, vendor, and client teams to ensure successful program outcomes and delivery commitments.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and issues while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide executive-level status reporting, Steering Committee presentations, and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational delivery methodologies.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, and change management activities to support successful adoption of modernization initiatives.

What You Must Have to Be Considered
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation, modernization, or migration programs within complex organizations.
- Extensive expertise in program and project management using Microsoft Project, including integrated planning, scheduling, dependency management, resource planning, and risk tracking.
- Demonstrated experience managing Agile delivery programs, including sprint planning, backlog management, release planning, stakeholder reviews, and Jira-based execution tracking.
- Experience managing program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and executive financial reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align business, technology, vendor, and client organizations.
These Will Help You Succeed
- Healthcare payer industry experience with knowledge of claims administration, benefits, enrollment, provider operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading QNXT implementation, migration, upgrade, or claims platform modernization initiatives.
- Experience presenting program status, risks, financials, and key decisions to executive leadership and Steering Committees.
- Familiarity with healthcare integration technologies, APIs, data migration, interoperability solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with UX/UI, cloud modernization, digital transformation, and vendor partner teams.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or other relevant project and program management certifications.

Compensation
$105,000 - $129,500
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
