· Build and optimize Kafka-based event-driven solutions for reliable, near-real-time data exchange and processing.
· Develop secure, cloud-native applications on AWS with a focus on resilience, observability, performance, and cost efficiency.
· Design and tune SQL queries, relational data models, and database structures for transactional workloads.
· Translate business requirements into clear technical designs in partnership with product, architecture, quality engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
· Embed authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure coding practices into application design and delivery.
· Strengthen engineering quality through code reviews, automated testing, refactoring, clean coding, and maintainable design patterns.
· Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve service health, incident response, and operational reliability.
· Analyse performance bottlenecks, conduct load testing, and tune applications to meet demanding service-level objectives.
· Support production stability through complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and durable corrective actions.
· Create and maintain clear documentation for architecture, APIs, data flows, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
· Deliver enhancements that improve payment and card-processing reliability, security, and customer experience.
· Participate actively in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and other hybrid collaboration activities to support timely delivery.
