Job Summary
Consultant role in a multinational organization focusing on S4 HANA OTC Basic Information System with hybrid work model and day shift schedule requiring three to five years of experience in configuration and support of order to cash processes driving accurate and efficient transaction flows that strengthen customer fulfillment and financial integrity while supporting sustainable business growth and value creation for global operations
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret business requirements across the order to cash lifecycle in S4 HANA environments to design robust process flows that improve operational accuracy and cycle time for global stakeholders
- Configure and validate S4 HANA OTC Basic Information System functionalities including master data settings and transaction controls to ensure consistent and reliable processing of customer orders and billing events
- Monitor and troubleshoot OTC related issues in S4 HANA systems by performing detailed root cause analysis and coordinating corrective actions that minimize downtime and prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with cross functional teams in sales logistics finance and technology to align OTC solutions with upstream and downstream processes and to enable end to end data consistency
- Develop and maintain functional specifications and configuration documentation for OTC scenarios to support audit readiness knowledge transfer and continuous system optimization
- Conduct unit testing integration testing and regression testing for OTC changes in S4 HANA to safeguard business continuity and validate that enhancements meet defined acceptance criteria
- Provide structured support to business users during day to day OTC operations by resolving incidents clarifying process questions and guiding effective use of system capabilities
- Coordinate and execute cutover activities for OTC streams during release cycles or minor projects ensuring that data migration validation and transition tasks are completed with minimal business disruption
- Design and refine OTC reporting and analytics using S4 HANA information structures to deliver actionable insights on order status billing performance and revenue trends that inform strategic decision making
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring pain points in OTC processes proposing configuration optimizations and supporting controlled implementation of improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting principles in OTC system designs to protect data integrity support accurate financial postings and uphold regulatory obligations
- Support hybrid work collaboration by effectively using digital communication tools to maintain clear coordination with on site and remote colleagues and to ensure timely resolution of shared tasks
- Align daily consulting activities with the company commitment to responsible business by enabling transparent transaction flows that support fair customer treatment and trustworthy financial reporting
Qualifications
- Demonstrate three to five years of practical experience as an S4 HANA OTC consultant with hands on involvement in configuration testing and support of core order to cash processes
- Apply strong understanding of OTC topics such as sales order management delivery processing billing and related pricing logic to design solutions that are stable scalable and user friendly
- Utilize foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles to ensure that OTC configurations result in accurate revenue recognition and clean postings to financial ledgers
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical peers using clear documentation and structured discussions to translate requirements into workable designs and to explain solution impacts
- Manage tasks in a hybrid work model by organizing workload proactively coordinating with team members in different locations and maintaining high responsiveness during day shift hours
- Show adaptability to evolving S4 HANA capabilities and company standards by learning new features participating in internal knowledge sharing and applying updated practices to live projects
Certifications Required
SAP Certified Application Associate S4HANA Sales or equivalent OTC focused certification
