About the Role
As an Oracle HCM Payroll QA Analyst, you will make an impact by ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of Oracle Fusion HCM applications and payroll processes through comprehensive testing and validation activities. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, business stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
In This Role, You Will
• Execute functional testing across Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Workforce Structures, Talent Management, and Payroll.
• Perform payroll testing activities, including earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, taxation, retroactive processing, off-cycle payrolls, and gross-to-net validation.
• Support payroll parallel testing by performing reconciliation, documenting variances, and assisting with issue investigation and resolution.
• Validate HCM integrations, data conversion activities, and security controls to ensure business and compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to execute test cycles, manage defects, support UAT activities, and drive timely issue resolution.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering or software testing experience, including 3+ years of Oracle Fusion HCM testing experience.
• Hands-on experience testing Oracle Cloud US Payroll, including payroll calculations, deductions, taxation, retro processing, payroll reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion HCM implementations, enhancements, or transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Workforce Structures, Security Roles, Person Management, and Approval Workflows.
• Experience validating HCM data conversions, integrations, and payroll parallel testing activities.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, documenting defects, and using test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
These Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM to Oracle Fusion HCM migration programs.
• Exposure to Oracle Benefits, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), and Oracle Onboarding.
• Experience testing payroll in highly regulated or unionized environments.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of Oracle HCM security controls, access management, and role validation.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and automation frameworks for Oracle applications.
• Experience working with globally distributed onsite/offshore delivery teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $53,477– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
