Job Summary : GeoSpatial Analyst MAP will design implement and optimize geospatial data solutions supporting large scale mapping and analytics initiatives for an MNC. The role focuses on building resilient services using Java Kubernetes and Kafka in a hybrid work model ensuring high data quality efficient spatial processing and actionable insights that enable better location based decisions for business and society. 3. Responsibilities : -Design scalable geospatial data processing workflows that transform raw spatial datasets into accurate and timely mapping products using Java based services integrated with containerized environments and event streaming platforms -Develop and optimize microservices that expose geospatial functions through robust APIs ensuring reliable performance and availability across hybrid cloud and on premises infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders -Configure and manage container orchestration environments with Kubernetes to deploy monitor and maintain geospatial applications while enabling efficient resource utilization and fault tolerance -Implement and tune Kafka based data pipelines to handle high volume spatial and telemetry data streams ensuring ordered delivery low latency and consistent data availability for downstream analytics -Analyze complex spatial patterns using mapping tools and custom Java algorithms to generate insights that support business decisions such as site selection route optimization and regional performance evaluations -Collaborate with cross functional teams including data engineers product specialists and domain experts to translate mapping requirements into technical designs that align with organizational standards and compliance guidelines -Create detailed documentation for geospatial services data models and processing logic enabling smooth handover maintainability and onboarding for project partners and future team members -Establish and monitor quality checks for spatial data including validation of coordinate systems topology and attribute integrity to ensure that mapping outputs remain reliable for critical operational and analytical use cases -Provide technical support for production issues in day shift by diagnosing geospatial service failures performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies and by implementing corrective actions that minimize downtime -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new geospatial libraries container strategies and streaming patterns that can enhance efficiency resilience and sustainability of mapping solutions -Coordinate secure and compliant data access to sensitive spatial datasets by applying appropriate policies logging and audit practices in alignment with enterprise governance and regulatory expectations -Communicate geospatial findings through clear maps dashboards and reports that demonstrate how location based insights contribute to company objectives such as operational efficiency customer experience and positive environmental impact -Ensure alignment of hybrid work practices with project delivery needs by using collaboration tools and structured communication so that distributed team members can consistently access mapping services and share geospatial artifacts -Qualifications -Bring strong experience in designing and implementing Java based services for geospatial processing including familiarity with spatial data structures and efficient computation over large datasets -Demonstrate practical expertise in Kubernetes for deploying scaling and observing geospatial applications including configuration of pods services and namespaces for stable hybrid operations -Show hands on proficiency with Kafka for building reliable data ingestion and distribution flows that transport spatial and event data between mapping engines analytics platforms and storage layers -Apply solid skills in working with geospatial databases and file formats such as relational spatial stores raster and vector data ensuring accurate storage retrieval and transformation in enterprise environments -Possess experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting distributed applications so that mapping workloads remain responsive under varying volumes and complex spatial queries -Display capability in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams using clear communication and structured documentation to turn business mapping requirements into deliverable technical solutions -Exhibit familiarity with secure data handling practices for spatial information including access control metadata management and compliance oriented logging in regulated corporate settings -Utilize analytical thinking and problem solving abilities to interpret location based trends and to recommend meaningful actions that support inclusive services sustainable development and societal benefits 9.
