About the role
As a Consulting Manager - Capital Management, you will make an impact by serving as a hands-on subject matter expert within our Treasury and Capital Management Technology practice. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, technology partners, and regulatory reporting teams to support the delivery of large-scale capital management, regulatory reporting, and enterprise data initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with deep data analysis skills and experience delivering complex financial services technology programs. You will translate regulatory and business requirements into technology solutions, support enterprise data initiatives, and drive successful delivery within Agile environments.
In this role, you will:
Translate capital management and regulatory business rules into detailed functional and technical requirements while ensuring alignment with business and regulatory objectives
Partner with business, technology, and data stakeholders to deliver complex financial services transformation initiatives, including Capital Management and Capital Regulatory Reporting programs
Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and create business processes, use cases, user stories, traceability matrices, governance artifacts, and process documentation
Develop and maintain data lineage, data mapping, control documentation, data quality frameworks, and perform detailed data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and analysis across large datasets
Lead testing and implementation activities, including system integration testing, UAT, defect management, release validation, and implementation readiness while supporting enterprise data platform initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

What you must have to be considered
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
Experience delivering complex financial services technology initiatives
Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments
Experience translating complex business and regulatory requirements into technology solutions
Experience supporting Capital Management, Treasury Technology, or Capital Regulatory Reporting initiatives
Strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, and capital management processes
Advanced SQL skills with extensive experience analyzing, reconciling, and validating large datasets
Experience with data integration, data mapping, data lineage, and data quality processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
Experience creating process flows, governance documentation, business requirements, and requirements traceability artifacts
Strong testing expertise including system testing, UAT, defect management, release validation, and implementation support
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Hands-on experience working with enterprise data platforms, integration processes, and reporting solutions

Experience with Basel III and US Endgame regulatory initiatives
Experience with Axiom Regulatory Reporting solutions
Familiarity with credit risk platforms or capital calculation engines
Experience working with Enterprise Data Platforms
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Knowledge of treasury systems and regulatory reporting environments
Experience supporting large-scale data transformation, modernization, and enterprise reporting initiatives
Experience working within complex banking and regulatory environments
Ability to bridge business, data, technology, and regulatory stakeholders while driving successful program delivery

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $120,000 – 127,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
