Job Summary

The Sr Consultant role requires a seasoned professional with 10 to 14 years of experience in SAP ISUtilities ABAP. The position involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts. The consultant will leverage their expertise to optimize utility processes ensuring seamless integration and functionality within SAP systems. This role does not require travel.As a Technology Architect specializing in SAP ABAP

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of SAP ISUtilities ABAP solutions to enhance utility operations.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Have a deep understanding of utility industry processes and SAP integration.
• Oversee the customization and configuration of SAP modules to meet specific business needs.
• Provide technical expertise in SAP ISUtilities to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of SAP solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP ISUtilities.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAP solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Develop and maintain documentation for SAP ISUtilities processes and configurations.
• Design and implement robust SAP ABAP solutions tailored to the Utilities domain to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for seamless integration.
• Develop and maintain ABAP AMDP procedures to ensure high-performance data processing and retrieval.
• Utilize SAP ABAP Workflow to automate business processes reducing manual intervention and increasing productivity.
• Implement WebDynpro for ABAP to create user-friendly interfaces that improve user experience and streamline operations.
• Provide expertise in Core ABAP development ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices for sustainable solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of ABAP applications to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Oversee the deployment of ABAP Web Services to facilitate smooth communication between systems and enhance interoperability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that align with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to continuously innovate and improve existing systems.
• Mentor junior developers sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and development.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within the Utilities domain to maintain integrity and trust.
• Drive initiatives that contribute to the companys purpose and societal impact leveraging technology for positive change.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in SAP ISUtilities ABAP development and implementation.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Have a deep understanding of utility industry processes and SAP integration.
• Possess a deep understanding of SAP ABAP and its applications within the Utilities domain.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ABAP AMDP SAP ABAP Workflow and WebDynpro for ABAP.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative solutions.
• Have experience in developing and deploying ABAP Web Services for seamless system integration.
• Show expertise in Core ABAP development ensuring high-quality code and performance.
• Display excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
• Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a focus on the Utilities domain.
• Be adept at working in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
• Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members fostering a collaborative environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all development activities.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.
