As Android Senior Software Engineer you will make an impact by To contribute to the strategy, architecture, best practices, and selection of tools and technologies for iOS application platforms, supporting backend APIs, CI/CD tools, and test automation, ensuring the technical execution and launch of mobile applications to end consumers. You will be a valued member of the DE Studio LATAM team and work collaboratively The Product, Design, and Delivery leaders are there to help teams realize product initiatives and operational execution.
In this role, you will:
Design and build intuitive, simple, and elegantly designed mobile applications that people want to use.
Provide support and development of software tools and procedures to extend and enhance the core production pipeline.
Work with various departments, including Product, Design, Delivery, Editorial, and Engineering, to implement digital user experience solutions and applications.
Assist in resolving production issues, root cause analysis, and debugging.
Develop and maintain existing production systems that support the client's digital ecosystem.
Mentor junior developers.
Ensure that software development follows industry best practices, policies, and guidelines. Specifically, ensure that technical solutions are aligned with the established digital strategy, standards related to architecture, security, corporate governance, coding standards, monitoring, logging, unit testing, and service enablement.

What you need to have to be considered
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Proven advanced understanding in problem-solving, root cause analysis, application design, solution development, human factors/usability design, and project implementation for large business units or the enterprise
Solid foundation in programming fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintain existing code
Proven experience in full-stack mobile development with native clients, SDKs, and APIs (Kotlin/Java, Jetpack Compose, Android platform).
Proven specialized knowledge in software development methodologies, practices, and architecture, specifically experience in architecturally performing, scalable, and secure mobile applications.
Hands-on experience with mobile CI/CD DevOps tools and implementing best practices, including deployment automation, code signing tools, and automated testing. Familiarity with Git and Bitrise is desirable.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with cross-functional, technical and non-technical teams in English.
Experience in creating flexible software architecture to meet constantly changing business needs.
These will help you stand out
Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms such as Amazon AWS
General familiarity with database technologies (SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL, GraphDB, etc.)
