Job Summary
As a Test Lead you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. With your expertise in POMSnet you will lead testing efforts collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning design and execution of test strategies for MES solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the development of comprehensive test plans and test cases leveraging your expertise in POMSnet to ensure thorough coverage.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and business analysts to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
- Drive the implementation of automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on testing progress providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing methodologies and processes.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and performance.
- Facilitate regular testing reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and optimize testing workflows.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure testing timelines align with overall project schedules and deliverables.
- Utilize your domain expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems to identify potential risks and mitigate them proactively.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies.
- Contribute to the companys purpose by ensuring high-quality MES solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on MES solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in POMSnet and its application in testing environments.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address testing challenges.
- Show proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Display a keen attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and defect identification.
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new testing technologies and methodologies.
Certifications Required
ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level POMSnet Certification
