The Opportunity
As a Senior Account Manager within our Communications, Media & Technology business, you will build strategic client relationships and drive profitable growth across some of the most critical transformation priorities in the sector. You will position Cognizant’s capabilities across OSS/BSS, infrastructure management, digital workplace, network services and AI-led operations, helping clients modernise core platforms, improve operational resilience, elevate service quality and unlock greater business value.
· Develop a strong understanding of client priorities, operating challenges and transformation agendas across the CMT sector, and translate these into strategic growth opportunities for Cognizant
· Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across business, IT, network, operations, engineering and customer service functions
· Originate and expand opportunities across OSS/BSS modernisation, infrastructure transformation, digital workplace, network operations, service assurance and AI in networks
· Lead the shaping of complex deals and transformation programmes in partnership with consulting, solution, delivery and commercial teams
· Create and execute account plans that improve operational resilience, customer experience, service quality, employee productivity and commercial performance
· Lead cross-functional pursuit teams for RFPs, strategic bids and large-scale transformation opportunities across telecom and broader CMT clients
The ideal candidate will bring strong domain understanding across one or more CMT segments, including telecom, broadband, media, entertainment or technology, with particular strength in OSS/BSS, infrastructure management, digital workplace and network transformation. You will have a strong track record of selling technology and consulting services in complex enterprise environments, supported by Cognizant’s consulting, solution and delivery teams to shape integrated, outcome-led engagements.

Your background
· A strong commercial drive, combined with a clear commitment to delivering measurable client and business value
· Deep understanding of how technology and consulting services create business outcomes across OSS/BSS, infrastructure management, digital workplace and network transformation in the CMT sector
· Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, network domain, service operations and enterprise transformation, ideally within telecom or adjacent CMT environments
· Experience in one or more relevant areas such as OSS/BSS modernisation, service assurance, workplace transformation, cloud and infrastructure services, network operations, observability, automation or AI in networks
· Expert-level strength in either direct customer relationships across Belgium and the Netherlands at Director+ level, or deep commercial acumen in shaping output-based, outcome-based, capacity-based and AI-infused capacity deals
· Ability to describe, build and defend robust business cases for transformation programmes; experience using AI tools to accelerate business case development and commercial modelling is a strong advantage
· Strong executive presence, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders and lead cross-functional internal teams
· Fluency in English and Dutch is nice to have, but not mandatory
· Prior experience in shaping or leading large deals is a plus
