Job Summary
The Technology Architect will design govern and optimize enterprise grade Pega solutions focused on upgrades frameworks platform engineering and complex case management in Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM). The role involves hands on architecture review of application development and stewardship of data and integration patterns ensuring scalable and resilient digital workflows. Exposure to check processing domain is preferred. Work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end architecture for Pega based solutions that align with enterprise standards while ensuring robustness scalability and maintainability of digital workflows
- Oversee Pega upgrade initiatives by planning impact analysis defining upgrade strategies and guiding teams through validation and remediation activities
- Design reusable Pega frameworks that standardize business patterns and promote consistency across multiple applications and product lines
- Provide technical direction for Pega platform configuration including application rulesets security models and performance tuning for optimal user experience
- Guide complex Pega application development efforts by reviewing designs rule structures and implementation approaches to ensure adherence to best practices
- Define and govern Pega data models that support reliable master data efficient querying and accurate reporting across business domains
- Architect integration patterns between Pega solutions and enterprise systems using APIs messaging and batch interfaces to ensure secure and resilient data exchange
- Collaborate with business teams to translate case management requirements into modular Pega case types stages and processes that streamline operations
- Partner with cross functional teams to design hybrid work friendly solutions that support distributed delivery while maintaining quality and compliance expectations
- Conduct detailed design and code reviews for Pega components to identify risks early and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices
- Develop guidance and reference implementations for Pega case management that reduce manual effort and improve straight through processing for critical journeys
- Mentor engineering teams by sharing architectural patterns troubleshooting techniques and optimization strategies for Pega platform capabilities
- Coordinate with operations and support functions to define monitoring logging and incident response approaches that help maintain high system availability
Qualifications
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Pega upgrade projects covering planning rule refactoring regression risk management and post upgrade stabilization
- Bring strong hands on experience with Pega frameworks and rule reuse strategies that enable faster delivery and reduced maintenance overhead
- Show advanced proficiency in Pega platform administration including access control performance optimization and environment configuration
- Apply practical experience in Pega application development with focus on guardrail compliance modular design and long term maintainability
- Exhibit solid understanding of Pega data and integration capabilities including connectors services and data pages for secure information exchange
- Utilize proven skills in Pega case management to design intuitive case structures stages and routing that improve user productivity and customer outcomes
- Leverage exposure to check processing or related financial operations to design solutions that respect regulatory risk and operational constraints
- Possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities to explain architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non technical partners
- Bring ten to twelve years of overall technology experience with significant time dedicated to Pega architecture and complex enterprise implementations
