Job Summary:
- The consultant should be able to own the Oracle Cloud Maintenance (EAM) track and drive various phases of the project such as Cloud Map, CRP, design, build, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
- Must display competency and should be able to configure the Oracle Cloud Maintenance modules (Asset Management, Work Orders, Maintenance Programs, Work Definitions, Resources & Work Centers, Maintenance Dispatching, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, etc.).
- Candidate must be a problem solver with good analytical and communication skills, capable of translating complex asset maintenance and reliability business requirements into Oracle Cloud Maintenance (EAM) configurations.
- Candidate should work closely with offshore functional and technical teams to keep track of project deliverables, open issues, and milestone adherence across the Oracle Cloud Maintenance workstream.
- Candidate must own deliverables like RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix), To-Be design, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, DS030 (Configuration Document), AN100 (Design Document), and Oracle Cloud Maintenance solution design specifications.
- Should work closely with maintenance, operations, and other dependent departments and client-side roles such as Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Planners, Work Order Supervisors, and Asset Custodians.
- Will be responsible for configuring Oracle Cloud Maintenance asset setup parameters including Asset Books, Asset Categories, Maintainable Assets, Asset Hierarchy, Maintenance Enabled Inventory Organisations, Work Centers, Resources, Maintenance Programs (time-based and meter-based), and Failure Codes (failure, cause, and remedy).
- Is responsible to work closely with the Project Manager on both Cognizant and Client sides, as well as with other functional consultants across Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Fixed Assets, and Finance workstreams for cross-module process alignment.
- Candidate must have proven experience in handling CEMLI objects and related documents, including Oracle Cloud Maintenance-specific extensions such as custom Work Order status transitions, maintenance forecasting rule overrides, and meter reading automation configurations.
- Is responsible to design integrations with legacy and third-party systems such as Oracle EBS EAM, CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems), IoT sensor platforms for condition-based maintenance triggers, SCADA systems, and Fixed Assets (Oracle Fusion Assets) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Is responsible for validating asset and maintenance master data migrated from legacy systems (Oracle EBS EAM / CMMS) into Oracle Cloud Maintenance, performing data reconciliation for Maintainable Assets, Asset Hierarchies, Meter definitions, Maintenance Programs, Historical Work Orders, and spare parts inventory during FBDI-based data loads.
- Should be able to configure end-to-end Work Order management including Work Order types (preventive, corrective, emergency, project-based), Work Definitions, Standard Operations, Operation Resources, Material Requirements, Work Order statuses, and maintenance dispatching and scheduling parameters.
- Should be coordinating with the Procurement consultant for maintenance spare parts purchasing and direct PO for service work orders, the Inventory consultant for spare parts issuance and returns to storeroom, and the Fixed Assets consultant for capital work order capitalisation and asset retirement processes.
- Must be able to design Oracle Cloud Maintenance-related OTBI reports and BI Publisher reports as per business requirements, covering areas such as Work Order cost tracking, asset downtime and availability (MTTR/MTBF), Maintenance Program compliance, PM schedule adherence, failure analysis, and spare parts consumption; validate them with users and iteratively test and deploy successfully.
- Is responsible to design and deliver maintenance-facing documents such as Work Order traveller, Job Card, Maintenance Checklist, Inspection Report, Spare Parts Requisition, and Equipment History Report using Oracle Cloud document generation and BI Publisher.
- Candidate will be responsible to design and deliver the “Train the Trainer” plan and schedule for all Oracle Cloud Maintenance module users, including Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Planners, Technicians, and Storeroom / Spare Parts Controllers.
