About the role
As an Integration Specialist, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and stabilizing enterprise integrations that connect ServiceNow platforms and critical business systems. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, partner technical teams, and platform owners to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable cross-platform connectivity.
In this role, you will:
Lead integration analysis and technical design for ServiceNow-based connectivity, including Service Bridge, Foundation Data Sync (FDS), Oracle HR integration, and SPM/WFM data flows
Define and document end-to-end integration architecture, including interface specifications, data mappings, transformation logic, and security protocols
Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to validate system readiness, dependencies, and release sequencing across integration waves
Design and implement secure, scalable integration solutions using ServiceNow native capabilities, APIs, middleware, and approved tooling
Drive integration testing and validation, including connectivity, payload accuracy, reconciliation, and error handling scenarios
Support post-deployment activities such as monitoring, issue triage, defect resolution, and hypercare stabilization
Identify and manage integration risks, dependencies, and change impacts to ensure successful delivery milestones

What you need to have to be considered
5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations, particularly within ServiceNow or similar platforms
Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs, MID Server, and secure integration patterns
Strong knowledge of data mapping, transformation logic, and interface troubleshooting in multi-system environments
Experience with integration testing, monitoring, production deployments, and incident/problem resolution
Understanding of security, authentication, and access control practices for enterprise integrations
Proven ability to document integration designs, operational procedures, and technical specifications
These will help you stand out
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or IntegrationHub credentials
Experience integrating HR systems (e.g., Oracle HR) and CMDB synchronization (FDS)
Familiarity with Service Bridge implementation and cross-instance ServiceNow integrations
Exposure to ITSM, ITIL, SPM, or Workforce Management (WFM) processes
Experience working in healthcare or highly regulated enterprise environments

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $137K - $158K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
