iOS DevOps Engineer
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified iOS DevOps Engineer with at least 6+ years experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. iOS DevOps Engineer will be designing, developing and enhancing scalable applications using Swift while building robust CI CD pipelines with Jenkins Docker and Kubernetes. This role involves owning high quality code delivery collaborating in a hybrid work model and driving secure and maintainable solutions that align with business goals and improve customer experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Design and implement high quality Swift applications that deliver reliable performance and intuitive user experiences for end customers
· Develop and maintain Jenkins based CI CD pipelines that ensure fast reliable and traceable software delivery across multiple environments
· Configure and optimize Docker container images that improve deployment consistency resource efficiency and application portability
· Orchestrate containerized workloads on Kubernetes clusters to achieve resilient scalable and observable application operations
· Create and maintain Git branching strategies that support collaborative development code review discipline and safe integration of changes
· Review and refactor existing codebases to improve readability maintainability test coverage and long term sustainability
· Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to clarify requirements resolve technical issues and align on delivery milestones
· Implement secure coding practices and guardrails that protect sensitive data prevent vulnerabilities and comply with organizational standards
· Diagnose and resolve production issues by analyzing logs metrics and user reports to restore services with minimal impact on customers
· Automate build test and deployment workflows to reduce manual effort increase repeatability and shorten feedback cycles for feature delivery
· Document technical designs architectural decisions and operational runbooks to support knowledge sharing and efficient onboarding of peers
· Participate in estimation and planning activities to provide realistic effort assessments and support predictable delivery in day shifts
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance developer productivity system reliability and overall business value
Required Qualifications:
· Demonstrate strong experience in Swift development including memory management concurrency handling and integration with backend services
· Exhibit deep hands-on expertise with Jenkins pipelines including scripted and declarative approaches plus integration with testing frameworks
· Show proficiency in Docker concepts such as image creation layering and container lifecycle management for complex applications
· Apply practical knowledge of Kubernetes objects including pods deployments and services to support zero downtime releases
· Display solid understanding of Git workflows including pull requests code reviews and conflict resolution in multi contributor projects
· Possess strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose pragmatic solutions
· Bring experience working in hybrid delivery models with effective communication habits for both in person and remote collaboration
· Value clean code principles unit testing and continuous integration practices that contribute to sustainable and robust software systems
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 68,422- $ 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
