Job Summary
Consultant role responsible for delivering comprehensive business analysis and risk evaluation services for enterprise clients focusing on functional analysis business monitoring and structured planning activities. Role involves hybrid work model with day shift schedule supporting life and annuities insurance domain engagements and enabling informed strategic decisions through precise analysis and design work.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed risk and analysis activities to identify business exposure areas and recommend practical mitigation strategies that align with enterprise goals
- Conduct thorough functional analysis of business processes to ensure system capabilities accurately support changing operational needs and regulatory expectations
- Prepare structured analysis and design documentation that translates complex business requirements into clear solutions for multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Execute ongoing business monitoring routines to track performance indicators uncover trends and highlight improvement opportunities for client stakeholders
- Drive comprehensive business process reviews to map current workflows eliminate redundancy and improve efficiency in collaboration with cross functional teams
- Provide end to end business analysis and planning support by defining scope clarifying objectives and organizing requirements into actionable work items
- Engage with client teams in a hybrid model to facilitate workshops gather requirements and validate proposed solutions using structured analysis techniques
- Coordinate with technical and operations partners to ensure analysis outcomes are practical cost effective and aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines
- Develop clear business cases and impact assessments that explain anticipated benefits risks and dependencies associated with proposed changes
- Support test planning by defining acceptance criteria reviewing test scenarios and ensuring that delivered solutions align with documented business requirements
- Document assumptions constraints and dependencies for each initiative to provide transparent traceability across the full change lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders from life and annuities insurance domain when applicable to incorporate regulatory product and policy considerations into business designs
- Continuously improve analysis frameworks and templates by incorporating lessons learned feedback and industry practices to enhance future delivery quality
- Provide structured status updates to project partners highlighting progress key risks and decisions needed to maintain delivery timelines in a transparent manner
Qualifications
- Possess hands on experience in risk and analysis activities including qualitative and quantitative assessments applied to business and technology initiatives
- Demonstrate strong capability in functional analysis through requirements elicitation process modeling and detailed specification of business rules
- Apply solid expertise in analysis and design by converting business problems into structured solution outlines using industry known modeling methods
- Bring proven experience in business monitoring such as dashboard interpretation metric tracking and operational performance review practices
- Show practical knowledge of business process mapping optimization techniques and documentation standards used in large enterprise programs
- Exhibit robust skills in business analysis and planning including backlog preparation release planning and stakeholder alignment practices
- Offer domain exposure to life and annuities insurance covering policy administration claims handling and regulatory considerations as a desirable attribute
- Display familiarity with hybrid work environments and ability to collaborate effectively through onsite and remote communication channels
Certifications Required
Certified Business Analysis Professional CBAP or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis CCBA or equivalent business analysis credential
