About the role
As a Consulting Manager, Business Analyst – Fund Accounting, you will make an impact by supporting client onboarding initiatives within asset servicing operations, bridging business and technology through strong fund accounting expertise and data analysis. You will be a valued member of the BFS Consulting team and work collaboratively with onboarding teams, technology partners, operations stakeholders, and clients.
In this role, you will:
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications to support client onboarding processes
- Analyze and validate fund accounting data across enterprise systems to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Write and execute complex queries across databases (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle) to support data validation, issue resolution, and reporting
- Partner with operations and technology teams to troubleshoot onboarding issues and drive efficient resolutions
- Support end-to-end onboarding lifecycle, including mapping requirements, testing, and go-live validation
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Monsey, NY. What you must have to be considered
- 5+ years of strong experience in fund accounting within asset management or asset servicing environments
- Proven ability to query and analyze data using databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Experience working as a Business Functional Analyst bridging business and technology teams
- Understanding of client onboarding workflows and data validation processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
These will help you succeed
- Experience supporting data migrations, reconciliations, or onboarding projects within financial services
- Familiarity with capital markets systems and data models
- Exposure to ETL processes, data mapping, and testing methodologies
- Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments with multiple stakeholders
- Certification or coursework in finance, accounting, or business analysis

Compensation
$110,000 - $129,000
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
