Job Summary
The TL FPA role focuses on delivering accurate financial planning and analysis by leveraging advanced MS Excel and SAP FI Bank Accounting expertise while applying strong accounting strategies to support business decisions. The role involves hybrid work day shifts and collaboration across functions to optimize financial performance and ensure transparent reporting that contributes to sustainable organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive detailed financial planning activities to support budgeting and forecasting processes using structured methodologies that enhance accuracy and timeliness in reporting outcomes.
- Prepare variance analyses by comparing actual results with budget and forecast data to identify trends root causes and improvement opportunities for financial performance.
- Develop robust financial models in MS Excel that simulate different business scenarios and support management in evaluating potential investments and cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain and reconcile bank related financial transactions in SAP FI Bank Accounting to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance with internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate accounting strategies that align with organizational policies to standardize processes and promote consistent financial treatment across business units.
- Review general ledger entries and supporting documentation to validate correctness of postings especially for cash receivables payables and other key financial statement components.
- Support month end activities by preparing journals schedules and account reconciliations to enable timely closure of books and accurate financial statements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to gather financial inputs clarify variances and communicate insights that drive informed business decisions.
- Generate clear and concise financial reports and dashboards that translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for stakeholders across the organization.
- Implement process improvements within financial planning and accounting workflows to reduce manual efforts enhance data quality and strengthen control effectiveness.
- Assist in designing and maintaining documentation for accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent application and adherence to governance requirements.
- Respond promptly to internal and external audit requests by providing accurate financial information and explanations that support transparency and accountability.
- Engage with stakeholders to explain financial results answer queries and provide data driven recommendations that contribute to responsible growth and positive societal impact.
Qualifications
- Combine strong proficiency in MS Excel with hands on experience in building complex financial models using advanced formulas and managing large data sets to support decision making.
- Apply practical knowledge of SAP FI Bank Accounting to manage bank interfaces reconciliations and postings that maintain reliable and timely financial records.
- Use sound accounting strategies to support recognition accruals and classifications that align with applicable accounting principles and internal policies.
- Demonstrate understanding of month end closing processes by supporting journal posting reconciliation and review activities that help ensure accurate period end reporting.
- Apply familiarity with intercompany and fixed asset accounting to support reconciliation elimination and asset lifecycle activities where required.
- Showcase experience of three to six years in financial planning and analysis or related accounting functions within corporate or shared service environments.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal form to convey financial information to non finance stakeholders in a simple and actionable manner.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by adopting new tools templates and practices that enhance the efficiency and reliability of financial processes.
