Job Summary
Design and optimize end to end solutions on the Actimize platform as a Product Architect in ISG applying deep expertise in financial crime and compliance products. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define scalable architectures for Actimize ActOne and RCM components while ensuring robust integration with enterprise systems. Drive product quality performance and regulatory alignment for global banking clients in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to translate financial crime compliance objectives into detailed solution architectures using Actimize ActOne and RCM components that align with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations.
- Design robust and scalable configurations for Actimize SAM CDD Watch List Filtering and Trade Surveillance modules that optimize detection coverage operational efficiency and auditability across multiple lines of business.
- Define and document end to end data flows leveraging Actimize Unified Data Manager to ensure consistent data ingestion transformation enrichment and distribution across case management and analytics layers.
- Configure and refine Actimize RCM Designer workflows to streamline alert triage investigations and escalations improving investigator productivity and case resolution quality for global operations teams.
- Apply advanced expertise in Actimize AIS Modeler to design calibrate and optimize scenarios and models that reduce false positives while maintaining strong risk coverage across anti money laundering and surveillance use cases.
- Partner with enterprise architecture security and infrastructure teams to validate that Actimize solutions integrate cleanly with identity management logging monitoring and data warehouse platforms in a secure and compliant manner.
- Create detailed design specifications configuration guides and mapping documents that enable implementation teams to build and maintain Actimize solutions with high consistency and traceability.
- Oversee performance tuning and capacity planning activities for Actimize environments to achieve target response times throughput and stability under peak processing volumes and regulatory reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate with testing teams to define test strategies data sets and acceptance criteria that validate functional behavior data quality and non functional requirements for all Actimize modules in scope.
- Provide expert level guidance during production incidents and root cause analysis for Actimize components driving permanent corrective actions that strengthen resilience and operational reliability.
- Engage with client and internal compliance teams to interpret changing regulatory expectations and translate them into pragmatic enhancements for Actimize rules workflows and data structures.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to standardize reusable Actimize design patterns templates and accelerators that shorten delivery timelines and improve solution quality for future initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendor contacts and internal platform owners to evaluate new Actimize features and releases assessing their architectural impact and defining upgrade strategies that minimize disruption.
Qualifications
- Possess ten to fourteen years of overall experience in enterprise financial services technology with significant recent focus on financial crime and compliance platforms in complex organizational environments.
- Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in Actimize ActOne and RCM including configuration of cases queues workflows and user experience elements tailored to investigation and operations teams.
- Exhibit deep practical experience with Actimize Trade Surveillance Watch List Filtering SAM and CDD modules across implementation tuning and production support activities for global banking clients.
- Show advanced proficiency in ACTIMIZE RCM Designer and ACTIMIZE AIS Modeler for designing optimizing and maintaining rules and models that balance risk sensitivity with operational efficiency.
- Apply solid knowledge of Actimize Unified Data Manager including schema design mappings enrichment strategies and performance considerations for large scale data processing.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of banking products capital markets payments and customer lifecycle events that are relevant to anti money laundering sanctions screening and surveillance scenarios.
- Utilize practical experience in hybrid work models and distributed agile teams to collaborate effectively across locations while maintaining clear documentation and structured communication.
- Display proficiency in writing solution design documents data mapping specifications configuration guides and runbooks that can be easily consumed by engineering and operations teams.
- Employ solid skills in SQL and data analysis to validate transformed data in Actimize repositories and support investigations into data quality or performance issues.
- Show familiarity with application integration patterns involving messaging services and batch interfaces that connect Actimize components with upstream and downstream systems.
- Maintain awareness of global and regional regulations in anti money laundering sanctions and market abuse domains to ensure architectural decisions support evolving compliance requirements.
- Exhibit strong problem solving and communication skills to guide discussions with business technology and operations partners and to explain complex Actimize design choices in clear and concise terms.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100-107K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
