Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Developer specializing in SQL data integration and Talend ETL within a hybrid work model and day shift schedule. The developer will design build and optimize data integration workflows that ensure reliable movement and transformation of critical business data. Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data integration solutions using Talend ETL to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs while ensuring robust performance and maintainability of all developed components.Develop optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries stored procedures and data transformation logic to ensure accurate consistent and timely delivery of data across multiple business applications.Analyze business requirements and source system structures to define clear mapping rules transformation logic and integration patterns that enable efficient and reliable movement of data between systems.Collaborate with data architects business analysts and application teams in a hybrid work environment to validate data models clarify requirements and ensure end to end alignment of ETL solutions with strategic objectives.Implement data quality checks validation routines and reconciliation processes within Talend ETL workflows to minimize data defects and provide transparent metrics on data accuracy and completeness.Monitor scheduled ETL jobs in the day shift identify bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis on failures or performance issues to restore normal operations and prevent recurrence through durable fixes.Document technical designs data flow diagrams and operational procedures for ETL jobs and SQL components to support knowledge sharing onboarding and ongoing maintenance activities across the development team.Work with operations and support teams to create streamlined deployment pipelines environment promotion practices and configuration management approaches that reduce risk and ensure consistent behavior across environments.Coordinate and execute integration testing system testing and data validation activities for new or enhanced ETL solutions to confirm functional completeness performance expectations and compatibility with dependent systems.Implement secure access patterns for data integration processes by aligning with organizational policies on data privacy retention and access control thereby supporting compliance and responsible data usage.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing existing ETL jobs refactoring inefficient processes and adopting best practices that reduce processing time operational overhead and maintenance complexity.Provide targeted support during incident resolution and post deployment verification windows focusing on data integrity checks rollback strategies and communication with stakeholders to minimize business disruption.Participate in estimation planning and prioritization discussions by providing realistic effort assessments and technical risk insights for data integration tasks helping teams deliver predictable outcomes and meet commitments.
Qualifications
Demonstrate strong proficiency in writing and tuning SQL for complex joins aggregations and large scale datasets with a track record of improving query performance and reliability in production environments.Apply advanced Talend ETL capabilities including job orchestration error handling metadata management and reusable components to build maintainable and modular data integration solutions that scale with business growth.Use comprehensive experience in data integration concepts such as batch processing real time flows and change data capture to design solutions that align with source system characteristics and business consumption needs.Bring practical understanding of relational database design normalization indexing strategies and data warehousing principles to support creation of efficient schemas and integration patterns that enhance analytic value.Leverage familiarity with hybrid work models collaborative tools and structured documentation practices to maintain clear communication and alignment across distributed stakeholders and technical peers.Utilize strong problem solving skills attention to detail and systematic debugging approaches to diagnose complex ETL and SQL issues implement durable fixes and prevent recurrence through proactive improvements.
