Adobe Commerce Architecture

Job Summary

This role requires an experienced Architect with deep expertise in Adobe Commerce caching and tuning platform architecture and theme implementation to design robust and scalable ecommerce solutions. The Architect will translate complex business needs into secure and performant technical designs ensuring reliable IT business support for day operations without travel requirements while contributing to trusted digital commerce experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design Adobe Commerce architectures that align with enterprise ecommerce strategies ensuring scalability resilience and efficient support for evolving IT business needs across hybrid work environments.
• Optimize Adobe Commerce caching and tuning configurations to deliver consistent high performance reducing page load times and improving overall customer experience for global digital channels.
• Develop Adobe Commerce theme structures and styling standards that create reusable maintainable and accessible presentation layers supporting rapid rollout of brand aligned experiences.
• Review and refine solution designs to ensure alignment with security practices including secure data flows and hardened configurations that reinforce IT security posture while enabling business agility.
• Collaborate with product owners and IT support teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical blueprints enabling reliable commerce functionality and smooth day to day operations.
• Guide development teams on Adobe Commerce best practices for modules integrations and extensions helping reduce defects and ensuring sustainable long term maintainability for complex implementations.
• Conduct performance assessments and capacity planning for Adobe Commerce environments forecasting resource needs and preventing bottlenecks that might impact peak season business outcomes.
• Establish coding and configuration standards specific to Adobe Commerce projects promoting clean implementations and consistent quality across multiple teams in a multinational organization.
• Coordinate with IT security and infrastructure stakeholders to validate architecture decisions ensuring that access controls logging and monitoring support secure and compliant commerce operations.
• Provide technical oversight during solution rollout and hypercare phases ensuring that incidents related to commerce platforms are quickly diagnosed and resolved with minimal business disruption.
• Document architecture decisions solution diagrams and operational guidelines in clear and structured formats supporting knowledge transfer and continuity for distributed hybrid teams.
• Evaluate new Adobe Commerce features and ecosystem tools recommending practical adoption paths that improve customer satisfaction operational efficiency and alignment with company digital strategy.
• Engage with cross functional teams to continuously refine ecommerce capabilities ensuring that architectural choices support inclusive customer journeys and create positive societal impact through reliable digital services.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive hands on experience with Adobe Commerce caching strategies performance tuning techniques and environment optimization in complex enterprise contexts.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Adobe Commerce architecture design including component selection integration patterns and deployment topologies for secure and scalable platforms.
• Show solid proficiency in Adobe Commerce theme creation and customization covering layout structures styling frameworks and user experience considerations for diverse audiences.
• Apply sound knowledge of IT business support processes including incident handling problem management and stakeholder communication to sustain stable commerce operations.
• Integrate awareness of IT security principles such as secure configuration vulnerability mitigation and access control management into every architectural decision.
• Utilize effective collaboration and communication capabilities to work with hybrid teams across locations ensuring clarity of design decisions and smooth implementation cycles.
