Role Overview
The GenAI / AIML Solution Architect owns the end-to-end architecture for the RSLA AI underwriting transformation. This senior onsite role combines enterprise architecture, AI/ML solution design, cloud integration, security, governance, and client-facing leadership to translate underwriting objectives into production-ready solution designs.
Key Responsibilities
Define overall GenAI/AIML architecture across ingestion, RAG, model orchestration, decision support, UI, security, auditability, and deployment.
Define architecture for AI-assisted claim validation, evidence retrieval, and decision-support workflows.
Define integration architecture for claims systems, underwriting platforms, document repositories, and enterprise data sources.
Create reference architecture, deployment blueprint, environment strategy, and integration approach across AWS services as applicable.
Define responsible AI, privacy, explainability, model risk, human oversight, and audit guardrails.
Align solution design with underwriting process, regulatory expectations, and operational scalability.
Establish explainability, auditability, governance and human review controls
Act as senior technical advisor to client sponsors, underwriting SMEs, IT, and data teams.
Lead architecture workshops and translate business goals into technical epics, solution options, and delivery decisions.
Present design choices, risks, dependencies, and implementation roadmap to senior stakeholders.
Review design and build outputs from onsite/offshore engineers.
Review architecture alignment for fraud detection, anomaly identification, and evidence-based recommendation services.
Guide RAG, LLM, prompt, data pipeline, integration, security, and evaluation design decisions.
Own architecture documentation, risk register inputs, and handover assets.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years technology experience with 3+ years in AI/ML, GenAI, or enterprise AI architecture.
Strong experience with LLM application architecture, RAG, prompt engineering, AI evaluation, and model governance.
Cloud architecture experience across AWS and/or Azure, including secure APIs, storage, monitoring, IAM/RBAC, and deployment patterns.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration, data privacy, audit logging, CI/CD, and production readiness.
Excellent client-facing communication and ability to explain complex AI designs to business stakeholders.
Strong Advantage
Insurance, life underwriting, claims, or financial services domain exposure.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, CosmosDB, AWS Bedrock, Lambda, S3, EC2, or equivalent services.
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Azure AI Foundry Agent Service, or comparable orchestration frameworks.
