The SAP Tosca Architect is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade SAP solutions and test automation frameworks using Tosca to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality business operations. This role requires extensive experience in SAP architecture, integration design, and automated testing strategies, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to optimize operational efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
● Design end-to-end solution architectures integrating SAP applications with Tosca-based test automation frameworks.
● Lead architecture reviews for SAP modules, interfaces, and integrations, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
● Develop reusable Tosca test automation frameworks to streamline regression testing and accelerate release cycles.
● Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate operational requirements into architecture designs and testing strategies.
● Define integration patterns between SAP and third-party/custom applications, ensuring data consistency and process traceability.
● Provide guidance on SAP configuration standards and Tosca implementation best practices across project teams.
● Assess existing SAP environments and testing assets, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
● Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, implementation guides, and testing playbooks.
● Support operations and production teams by designing monitoring and incident management approaches utilizing SAP and Tosca reporting capabilities.
● Evaluate new SAP features, Tosca functionalities, and related technologies to recommend innovative solutions that improve business outcomes.
● Contribute to project planning activities by providing architectural estimates, identifying risks, and defining mitigation strategies.
● Mentor team members on SAP architecture principles, test automation methodologies, and enterprise quality practices.
● Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, governance policies, and testing frameworks.
Requirements
● 8-10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions within SAP environments.
● Advanced hands-on expertise with Tosca Test Automation, including test design, execution planning, module management, and test optimization.
● Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, integrations, configurations, and performance optimization.
● Experience designing scalable and maintainable enterprise applications in complex business environments.
● Solid understanding of operational business processes and their relationship to SAP-driven solutions.
● Proven experience with system integration, dependency analysis, and enterprise application architecture.
● Strong background in quality assurance, automated testing strategies, defect analysis, and release management.
● Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in hybrid and distributed work environments.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
● Strong technical documentation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate to both technical and business audiences.
● Ability to mentor and guide development, testing, and project teams on architecture and automation best practices.
● Experience supporting operational improvement initiatives through SAP and test automation technologies.
● Knowledge of compliance, governance, and data management practices within enterprise systems.
● Continuous learning mindset with exposure to emerging SAP technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration tools.
