Job Summary

API Developer - Sr Software Engineer B3 role involves designing and delivering scalable microservices based applications using Python Core Java JavaScript Spring Boot SQL and GCP. The role focuses on building resilient cloud native solutions improving system performance and ensuring high quality code that supports business growth and creates reliable digital experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust microservices based applications that support complex business processes and deliver reliable functionality across distributed systems while maintaining high performance and scalability

Develop clean and efficient backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot to handle data intensive workloads and ensure seamless integration with frontend interfaces and external systems

Build and optimize Python components for data processing and automation tasks to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of enterprise applications

Create and maintain JavaScript based user interface components that provide intuitive and accessible experiences while ensuring compatibility with the underlying microservices architecture

Architect and refine SQL database schemas and queries to guarantee data integrity optimize query performance and support analytics and reporting needs across multiple environments

Utilize GCP services to design deploy and monitor cloud native solutions that provide secure scalable and cost effective platforms for critical business applications

Apply best practices in code review unit testing integration testing and refactoring to improve code quality reduce defects and support long term maintainability of complex systems

Collaborate closely with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with organizational goals and customer expectations

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by analyzing logs metrics and error patterns to restore service quickly and prevent recurrence through targeted improvements and documentation

Enhance application performance and reliability by identifying bottlenecks implementing caching and tuning resource utilization to provide stable experiences under varying workloads

Document technical designs service contracts and deployment procedures in a clear and comprehensive manner to support knowledge sharing onboarding and operational continuity

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing tooling process enhancements and coding standards that increase development velocity and overall product quality

Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards by implementing appropriate controls validations and monitoring within microservices and cloud based components

Qualifications

Demonstrate extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices based architectures with a strong focus on scalability resilience and modularity for large scale enterprise systems

Possess advanced proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot including experience with building RESTful services handling concurrency and optimizing application performance

Show strong hands on expertise with Python for scripting automation and backend service development while maintaining readability and reliability in complex codebases

Bring solid working knowledge of SQL including schema design complex joins indexing and performance tuning to support transactional and analytical workloads

Apply practical experience with GCP services such as compute storage and managed databases to deploy secure and scalable cloud solutions for production environments

Exhibit capability in JavaScript development for building and maintaining responsive user interfaces that interact efficiently with backend APIs and microservices

Offer experience working in hybrid teams using collaboration and version control tools to manage code reviews continuous integration pipelines and shared technical assets

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include GCP Professional Cloud Developer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect and Java or Spring framework related certifications
