We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Analyst to join a client's greenfield SAP ECC program, covering Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM), with working exposure to Plant Maintenance (PM). You will be working as part of the client's project team for the duration of the engagement, focusing on eliciting and documenting requirements for manufacturing planning, quality control, and equipment maintenance workflows, partnering with the project's functional consultants who own system configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops with the client's manufacturing, quality, and maintenance stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Perform fit-gap analysis between the client's business requirements and standard SAP PP/QM/PM processes, working with project functional consultants who own configuration.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and process flows covering demand management, MRP, production orders, BOM/routing, quality planning, inspection lot processing, and quality notifications.
- Document requirements related to maintenance plans, work orders, notifications, and equipment master data, coordinating with the client's maintenance stakeholders and the project's PM functional consultants.
- Map current-state and future-state manufacturing, quality, and maintenance processes.
- Act as the liaison between the client's production/quality/maintenance teams and the project's technical/functional consulting team, ensuring requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
- Coordinate integration discussions between PP/QM/PM and other modules (MM, SD, FI/CO) within the client's landscape.
- Prepare test scenarios and scripts, and coordinate unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with the client's business users.
- Support master and transactional data migration for production, quality, and maintenance data from a business/requirements perspective.
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training and change management activities for the client's production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Provide post-go-live support by triaging issues, coordinating fixes with functional consultants, and tracking continuous improvement items.
- Represent our organization professionally at the client site, keeping our internal project/engagement manager updated on progress alongside client stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst or in a similar requirements/process analysis role, with exposure to SAP PP and/or QM.
- Working exposure to SAP PM processes or requirements is required; deep PM specialization is not required.
- Prior experience in a greenfield SAP ECC implementation strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end manufacturing planning, quality control, and equipment maintenance processes.
- Working knowledge of integration points between PP/QM/PM and MM, SD, or FI/CO modules.
- Strong analytical, requirements-elicitation, and documentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- SAP certification in PP and/or QM, or Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA), is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willing to be based at a client location in Singapore for the engagement, and comfortable adapting to a client's ways of working.
- Prior experience working in a consulting or professional services environment, supporting client projects, is an advantage.
