Job Summary
This hybrid night shift role is for an experienced professional in bank accounting who will manage complex accounting activities and ensure accurate reporting for global operations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance reconciliations and period end processes while collaborating with finance and accounting stakeholders. The position supports reliable financial information that enables sound business decisions and contributes to trusted financial markets.
Responsibilities
Manage core bank accounting activities for daily operations and closing cycles to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions that support reliable financial reporting across the organization.Oversee end to end account reconciliation processes for bank related accounts to ensure completeness accuracy and prompt resolution of discrepancies that may impact financial statements and regulatory submissions.Drive month end and year end closing activities for bank accounting ledgers to secure consistent cutoff procedures and compliant reporting that supports internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to align bank accounting entries with broader record to report processes enabling transparent financial analysis and business insights.Implement robust controls over cash movements and bank interfaces to safeguard company assets and minimize the risk of misstatements or operational errors in financial records.Monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards and banking regulations to uphold high levels of governance and provide auditable documentation for reviews and inspections.Prepare detailed schedules and analytical reviews for bank related balances that support audits internal reviews and management reporting with clear variance explanations.Optimize use of accounting systems and banking platforms to streamline workflows reduce manual effort and improve data quality for finance and accounting processes.Collaborate with cross functional teams to support initiatives that enhance record to report cycles including automation projects data integrity improvements and policy updates.Provide guidance to colleagues on complex bank accounting scenarios by sharing expertise and best practices that strengthen overall team capability and consistency.Support continuous improvement of hybrid working practices for night shift operations by adapting processes and communication methods to maintain productivity and service quality.Contribute to risk management by identifying control gaps in bank accounting operations proposing remediation actions and following through on implementation to protect organizational integrity.Document end to end procedures for bank accounting tasks to ensure standardization clarity and sustainable handover across team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Possess substantial experience in bank accounting with strong knowledge of transaction flows reconciliations and closing activities that underpin accurate financial reporting.Demonstrate solid understanding of record to report concepts including general ledger processes subledger integration and period end controls relevant to finance and accounting.Apply practical expertise in finance and accounting principles to interpret data support decision making and meet compliance requirements across global operations.Utilize advanced proficiency in accounting systems and reporting tools to manage high volume bank transactions and produce reliable financial information for stakeholders.Exhibit capability in working night shifts within a hybrid model while maintaining high attention to detail resilience and consistent delivery against timelines.Show proven experience resolving complex reconciliation issues by analyzing root causes coordinating with banking partners and implementing durable solutions.Display familiarity with audit expectations for bank accounting by preparing clear documentation supporting evidence and well structured explanations for reviewers.
Certifications Required
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent professional accounting certification with additional training in banking or financial services accounting preferred.
