About the role
The Sirion Solution Architect will serve as the enterprise-level technical design authority for the J&J Sirion CLM program. This role requires Sirion certification, deep Sirion architecture experience, and proven experience designing Sirion solutions at enterprise scale. The architect is accountable for end-to-end CLM solution design, technical governance, integration architecture, security architecture, environment strategy, release governance, and OOTB-vs-custom decisioning that protects long-term upgradeability and maintainability.
In this role, you will:
· Define and govern the end-to-end Sirion solution architecture across Contract Request, Contract Generation, Clause Library, Template Assembly, Workflow/DOA, repository, obligations, reporting, analytics, AI capabilities, and release management.
· Establish Sirion platform standards for tenant/instance strategy, environment strategy, Admin Console governance, role-based access, security, upgradeability, scalability, maintainability, and configuration governance.
· Define integration architecture for SAP/Ariba, ServiceNow, Adobe Sign, Identity/SSO, APIs, REST services, OAuth, integration middleware/iPaaS, reporting platforms, and downstream enterprise systems.
· Govern OOTB-vs-custom decisions, upgrade impact assessments, architecture decision records, customization risks, release impacts, and technical design sign-offs.
· Oversee master/reference data alignment, Supplier Master integration, contract metadata, taxonomy, migration architecture, reporting/analytics enablement, and downstream data architecture considerations.
· Lead architecture workshops, technical design reviews, security reviews, integration reviews, AI feature enablement reviews, release governance forums, and solution sign-offs.
· Provide technical leadership across configuration, integration, data migration, reporting, AI activation, testing, validation, release promotion, deployment readiness, and BAU transition.

· Experience defining Sirion tenant strategy, environment strategy, security model, Admin Console governance, configuration promotion, release management, upgrade planning, and customization governance.
· Experience designing integrations with SAP/Ariba, ServiceNow, Adobe Sign, Identity/SSO platforms, APIs, REST services, OAuth, integration middleware/iPaaS, and enterprise integration patterns.
· Experience leading architecture governance, technical design reviews, OOTB-vs-custom evaluations, upgrade impact assessments, and enterprise platform strategy decisions.
· Experience defining master/reference data strategy, Supplier Master integration, metadata architecture, reporting architecture, migration architecture, AI feature enablement strategy, and downstream analytics enablement.
These will help you stand out
· Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industry experience.
· Experience with J&J-scale global CLM or procurement transformation programs.
· Experience with Icertis, SAP Ariba Contracts, Coupa CLM, Conga CLM, or other enterprise contracting platforms.
· Experience supporting transition from assessment to build and BAU service delivery.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 -$160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
