Position Summary
The Test Lead will be responsible for leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for Financial Crime platforms and Banking & Payments applications within Banking Corporation. The role involves end-to-end test management activities, including requirement analysis, test planning, test design, test execution, defect management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
The candidate will support testing initiatives related to AML reforms and Financial Crime transformation programs across UAT and BVIP phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of regulatory and business-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead and manage UAT and BVIP testing activities for Banking and Financial Crime programs.
•Analyse business requirements and prepare testing-related documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
•Coordinate end-to-end test execution activities and ensure adherence to STLC processes.
•Manage defects, risks, dependencies, and testing deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
•Liaise with business stakeholders, project managers, development teams, and vendors to ensure effective test coverage and timely issue resolution.
•Support AML reform initiatives and regulatory compliance programs through comprehensive testing and validation.
•Perform validation and testing of Financial Crime tools such as NetReveal, Quantexa, and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platforms.
•Execute API and Web Services testing to validate integration points across complex banking applications.
•Manage test data requirements, including coordination of Test Data Management (TDM) activities.
•Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and status updates for project stakeholders.
•Ensure quality assurance standards, governance requirements, and organizational testing best practices are followed.

Required Experience & Qualifications
•Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Management.
•Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Quality Assurance processes.
•Proven experience in Business Testing, UAT Testing, and BVIP Testing.
•Hands-on experience in Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, and Reporting.
•Experience with Jira and Confluence for test management and collaboration.
•Knowledge of Test Data Management (TDM) activities.
•Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
•Domain expertise in Banking, Payments, ISO messaging, Financial Crime, and AML compliance programs.
•Prior experience working with Financial Crime tools including:
oNetReveal Exp – at least 4 years
oQuantexa Exp – at least 1 year.
oEnterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
oAML Reform Programs
•Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
•Experience in large-scale banking transformation and regulatory compliance programs.
•Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
•Understanding of Financial Crime compliance frameworks and risk management processes.
