Job Summary
This hybrid role seeks a cyber security specialist with five to eight years of experience in proxy implementation and secure internet and remote access platforms. The role focuses on protecting enterprise traffic through Zscaler Internet Access Zscaler Private Access Palo Alto Prisma Cisco Umbrella and Cisco VPN ensuring resilient secure connectivity for global operations while supporting rotational shifts.
Responsibilities
Design and optimize secure web proxy implementation to safeguard enterprise traffic while maintaining high performance and reliable access for business applications.Configure and manage Zscaler Internet Access policies to control web usage enforce security posture and reduce exposure to malicious online content across all user segments.Administer Zscaler Private Access to provide seamless secure remote access to internal applications without traditional VPN dependence improving user experience and risk reduction.Implement and fine tune Palo Alto Prisma configurations to secure cloud based workloads while ensuring consistent policy enforcement and visibility across distributed environments.Operate and maintain Cisco Umbrella security controls to block threats at the DNS and IP layer and strengthen protection against phishing malware and command and control activities.Configure and support Cisco VPN solutions to deliver secure connectivity for hybrid workers while monitoring performance and optimizing for reliability and security alignment.Monitor security events across proxy platforms Zscaler Prisma Umbrella and VPN systems to identify anomalies prioritize incidents and support timely remediation and containment.Collaborate with network and application teams to integrate security controls into existing architectures ensuring minimal disruption and strong alignment with business requirements.Develop and update rule sets policies and configuration standards for all secure access technologies supporting consistent enforcement and reduced configuration drift across environments.Conduct root cause analysis for security and connectivity issues related to proxy and secure access tools and document findings to prevent recurrence and improve operational stability.Create and maintain technical runbooks and knowledge articles for proxy Zscaler Prisma Umbrella and VPN operations enabling smoother rotational shift handovers and efficient incident response.Support internal audits and compliance checks by providing accurate evidence from secure access platforms helping the organization meet regulatory and corporate security obligations.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance secure connectivity user safety and overall cyber resilience thereby supporting the company mission to protect digital interactions in society.
Qualifications
Demonstrate strong practical experience in designing and operating proxy implementation solutions with a focus on scalable secure traffic handling in enterprise environments.Possess hands on expertise administering Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access including policy creation troubleshooting and performance optimization for diverse user groups.Show advanced proficiency with Palo Alto Prisma and Cisco Umbrella configurations encompassing secure access design threat protection tuning and integration with existing network controls.Bring solid experience with Cisco VPN technologies including deployment configuration and ongoing support to enable secure hybrid working patterns across rotational shift schedules.Apply sound understanding of secure network architecture identity based access and traffic inspection concepts to build solutions that align with organizational security standards.Utilize strong analytical and problem solving skills to investigate complex connectivity and security incidents providing clear resolutions that minimize downtime and risk exposure.
Certifications Required
Zscaler Certified Administrator or equivalent vendor certification in Zscaler Palo Alto Prisma Cisco security platforms.
