· Review and refactor existing applications to improve maintainability, modularity, observability, and release quality.
· Partner with product owners and business analysts to translate provider-domain requirements into clear technical designs for claims processing, eligibility checks, and provider lifecycle management.
· Lead integrations with internal and external systems through well-defined APIs, consistent data exchange, robust error handling, and adherence to security policies.
· Define testing strategies with quality engineering teams, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
· Investigate production issues using logs, metrics, and distributed tracing, and implement sustainable fixes that strengthen platform stability.
· Optimize database queries, data models, and service interactions to improve throughput and latency for high-volume transactions in hybrid-cloud environments.
· Promote DevOps practices, including automated builds, containerization, and continuous delivery, to streamline release cycles.
· Mentor engineers on microservices architecture, Java design patterns, Spring Boot configuration, and clean coding practices.
· Document technical designs, service interfaces, and deployment procedures to support maintenance, knowledge sharing, and audit readiness.
· Collaborate with operations, compliance, support, and other stakeholders to ensure technical decisions align with regulatory requirements and user-experience goals.
